Swords of the "Steps"?

Hi everypuppy! It's me ... Ammy, and I'm just a LITTLE bit confused today! Remember a while back when Zim showed you a new book our dad was reading? It was called "Wolf of the Steppes" and Zim was just sure it was about him! Hee hee hee! I thought that was so funny - I laughed a long time over that one!

So I was really confused when I saw the fourth book in the series! Look at this:

Very puzzling!
Swords of the Steps?!!? The steps!??! I don't think that's right. I've seen swords somewhere, but I don't think they're on our steps. Oh, wait a minute.

Here's one!

There. I knew I'd seen one SOMEwhere!

I'm pretty sure the book should be called "Swords of the Library". I don't know what that author was thinking! Hee hee hee.

Love,
Ammy

  3. You should write your own book and title in The Swords in the Library. I bet it would be a comedy!

  4. Clearly you've caught a huge editing error on the publisher's part. You really should let them know so they can fix that. Humans just aren't detail oriented!

  5. Maybe you should google that? They might have something to tell you..
Your right Louie may have been wrongly accused but I certainly didn't make that mess. It could have been those cats. They are aways lurking around...

  8. You're so clever Ammy (and pretty). Watch out for those swords though, they can be pretty sharp.

  9. Hi, Ammy!
Maybe the author was in a state of confusion when he wrote it!
Glad you let us know the true place!

  10. We don't have any swords and the only thing on our steps is fur. I don't see a book called "Fur on the Steps" selling well.

  11. Ammy,

Witty here. Humans are always confusing one word for another. How many times has your Mom called you Zim? Of course Swords of the Steppes was probably written by one of those inane sword swallowers. Wouldn't it be more fun to swallow a swallow? Maybe it's the English language that confuses the humans.

You are looking quite fetching in the library. It was Ms. Ammy in the library with the sword who first got our attention.

  13. Oh Ammy you are clever. I don't know anything about books or swords.

Mistress has put some photos on my blog where master and I are looking away from the camera. I hope you will be pleased with them.

  14. Swords on the steps would get tripped over. I just know it!

The Human Assistant is such a dork. He says maybe it's about a hospital ward where everyone has raw throats:

    Sores of the Streps.

    Bleah.

  15. Woo are absolutely right, Ammy. It doesn't make sense, does it?

Well, you just never know what's going on in a human's mind, they're confusing creatures. Good thing they have all of US to keep things orderly.
