See what I mean? And did you see my brothers in the other room? They tried to rescue me! Oh, sure, they stopped to get in some play moves here and there, but most of the time they were trying to break the door down to save me! They're so brave! Storm was on the bed, directing their efforts. Here's a vid Dad took from their side of the door:
I just know if I had directed my screams toward Minne-snow-ta, my very handsome boyfriend Brice would have run down to help. He's not just handsome, he knows how to open doors! Isn't he wonderful? Oh... but back to my horrible day.
After the shower, I went out on the deck. It was in the upper 70s, with 20-30 mile and hour winds. Mom had just bathed Zimmie and it only took him about half an hour to dry. Well, I was out there over an hour with Mom and I was STILL wet. Have I mentioned my thick coat lately? Anyroo, I was tortured with towels and a brush and a comb and everything for SO long. Sigh. It was horrible. Finally, it was time to go in (sorry for the noise the wind makes!):
I'm not one to hold a grudge, really. Oh... did I mention Zim woke Mom up at 0200 this morning to take him outside to go potty? And then when they got in, I said I had to go real bad, too. So when Mom took me out, Zim stole her pillow and I piddled real fast then came in and demanded a cookie. Hee hee hee.
Pictures of the aftermath tomorrow. Sigh.
Love,
Ammy
Woo Hoo, look at how white those paws are and poor Ammy, we think woo tolerated that torture quite well.
ReplyDeleteOur Mom wants us to ask what kind of shampoo your Mom uses, but we said we would never ask that question for fear that she get some crazy notion of getting somr for us.

I'm so sad that I didn't hear my sweet Ammy calling for me. Your cries broke my heart.

Please forgive me!

The Horror. The Horror.
ReplyDeleteOur humans were looking at RVs (thinking the Siberian Utility Vehicle is getting a little small for all of us for any sort of longer trip). One of the contraptions they REALLY liked but we REALLY did not like was an outdoor shower nozzle in a compartment. Why did they all look at us when they were talking about that feature?
Oh poor sweet Ams! Why on earth do they put us through this torture???? I feel so bad for you,
ReplyDeleteI could understand every word you yelled! I hope it will be like a forever long time till' they decide to do this horrible thing to you once again.. You deserve tons and tons of treats for enduring that.
Luv,
Frankie
That might be the scariest video I've ever seen! I hope Mom doesn't get any bright ideas...
ReplyDeleteSherman
Oh my dogness! I've neer seen the movie you were talking about (mom hates scary movies) but I'm sure it was nothing like what you went through!!! You deserve an entire cookie jar full of cookies!!!
ReplyDeleteKaos
aaaawww Ammy!! How could they, I cried when I heard your screams for help! That is abuse!! Your Mom and Dad should be ashamed of themselves! Great efforts to rescue you by the troops though.. thats real sibling love!!
ReplyDeleteZim.. were you offering the paw of friendship?? I would be mortified.. but getting your Mom up at 2am to go potty then stealing her pillow totally makes up for it BOL!
Can't wait to see the aftermath photos!
love and tailwags,
Ben xxxxx

pee ess Come by our bloggy. We have a ladybug hugs award for you.
OMDOG you sure did get the screams going!! I only cry like that when I am getting my nails cut! Your brothers seemed slightly less concerned than they should have been...
ReplyDeleteAmmy!! I can;t believe your sweet mom locked you in the shower. You poor girl. Fortunately for me (perhaps you should come here), our shower doesn't have that kind of door. But you do look nice and fluffy. I bet you smell good too!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sitka
Woooo, we so feel your pain, Ams.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds just like that when we get baths too! Our humans usually take such good care of us, why oh why do they feel the need to even out the love with such torture?
Kisses,
The RHP
Hi, Ammy!
ReplyDeleteHaaaa!
I can change places with you anytime!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Ohhhh what torture! Poor you! I make sure mom knows how unhappy I am about baths too, but my singing isn't quite as scary as yours! Nebo just puts up with it, doesn't make a peep, crazy dog...Skya is quiet too, I don't understand why they don't scream protest like we do! I think its almost time for our monthly baths again...I better hide! ~ Keva
ReplyDeleteYow, Ammy! We have a torture chamber like that at our house, too! Glad you're okay now. But you sure do have good brothers watching your back. And for what it's worth, you look amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteJNTR
Ah yes, the melodic husky death screams. I'm sure it was much worse than just a bath, which is why the door was shut and we couldn't see what was going on! I am so glad we don't have a husky torture chamber like yours!!! Although Khady screams about as loudly! You look beautiful when it is all over though!!!
ReplyDeleteHolly
Oh no Ammy, you poor thing.... Your siblings are the best for trying to save you
ReplyDelete~ Girl girl
Woof AOF
ReplyDeleteOh my dog!!! That has to be the scariest thing we've ever seen. Holy puppy poop. Still, we're glad you survived and tell your humans to knock it off. It's too close to halloween.
Desert Pups
Dear Ammy
ReplyDeleteI called in to your blog for a smile, but I was so scared by the antics in the first video - I ran, and ran and ran. It was soooooooooooooooo scary.
The sounds of torture, the screams, oh dearie me, I am quite the traumatised one.
I peeked around the corner to see if I could see the creepy old lady in the rocking chair like in the film, but luckily no sign of her!
I need to recover now, that was the most scary thing since I saw Madonna on the television, she scares me too!
I hope you are all dry and fluffy now. Still shaking here.......

They were torturing you and they FILMED it? Save this evidence for the trial!
ReplyDeleteWow and my mom thought I was bad.
ReplyDeleteI mean, OH NO! Poor Ammy! I feel so bad for you! That is just horrible and I can't believe you had to endure that. I don't know why your dad didn't stop it! What kind of dad is he? That's almost like when my mom holds the shower door shut when I am inside with my dad!
Kat
Wow, I listened to each and every painful woo! What torture! Do you need a foster family after that???
ReplyDeleteButt wiggles, Meadow
WOO WOO POOR AMMY
ReplyDeleteMOM played your video and it woke us up, we were so worried, we knew you were in trouble. We are glad you survived your bath!
Hugs
Thor and Marco Polo
Oh there just HAS to be a law against this! I need to bust out the Siberian Law books before Mom gets her way and gives us a bath!
ReplyDeleteECHO
OH MY DOG, Ammy! You sound like you were dying in there! I was trying to claw the 'puter screen to try to rescue you, but then my momster told me that you had already had your bath and there was no rescuing to be done. I'm so traumatized for you!
ReplyDeleteOh Ammy!!!!
ReplyDeleteIm sorry, but I have to laugh! hahahahah! That was so funny! you sounded like you were being murdered in there! That was the most non-smiley I think I've ever seen you! you poor girl!
