Daylight Siberian Time

Ha roo, pups and cool cats!  It's me - Zim.  As many of you know, here in the States, we switched over to Daylight Siberian Time Sunday morning.  You know what that means.

Don't you?

Yep.  It means I get the party started around here even earlier in the morning now!

Of course, that means by evening time I'm doing a whole lot of this:

Yeah.  And I know what you're thinking.  Or at least what all the bipeds are thinking.  You want to lay a big smooch right on my snooter to say "thank you" for the wake up call at 0400 DST.

Don't you.

Fine.

Here you go:

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to rest up for tomorrow morning.

  2. You are right Zim. If I was there I would lay a huge smooch on you. Try and let your mom and dad get some sleep. Oh Dark Thirty is way too early for a wake up call.

  3. hee hee! big smoochies, Zim! our mom wishes we'd help her get up at 0400 but we kitties would rather stay warm in bed...as long as we get breakfast by 0600... Have a restful week!

  5. Momma and I both like to sleep in, so it works out very well! I like DST, though. I get to actually have my evening walks in daylight!

  6. Yes, DST is messing with us, too!
We were stunned when hu-mom told us it was time to eat last night. It was early!

  9. 4:00 AM is way too early at our house. Dad used to get up at 4:00 AM every morning but mom has slowly transitioned him into sleeping until 6:30. We don't want to go outside until we see the sun!

  11. Got two of my own 4 footed alarm clocks here, thank you very much. Why can't canines reset their inner clocks?
If you'll excuse me I think I'll take a short nap.....

  12. Falling back is no problem, springing forward on the other hand is rough. I did not want to wake up this morning, while Darwin was up every 2 hours last night wanting attention. Ugh. haha

  14. Zim, we'd get up at 0400 for your sweet face! Lately Mommy has been going to work at 0530 to fit her hours in and still have time left in the day and it's really hard to get up and go out at 0500 when she wants me to because she's not near as cute as you are!

  15. Are you kidding? This daylight savings time rocks! Now I can still get momma up at 4AM but she thinks it is 5AM so she is much less grouchy. I say we do it every week and pretty soon it will totally be tomorrow today or yesterday or something like that.
