We walked around a bit, then I spotted something!
"Hey! Look at that, Mom!" |
I couldn't believe my eyes. I was mesmerized!
"Right here, at the Kansas Ocean!" |
As you can see, my shadow was as transfixed as I was!
Eventually, I had to make my move! I had to move in closer! Check it out!
"Ha roo?" |
Can you see them?!? Down by the water's edge. A family of bipeds -- TOURISTS! At the Kansas Ocean! Word must be getting out about what a vacation hot spot it is! How exciting! I wonder if they have any shaved ice or salt water taffy they'd like to share with me...
Play bows,
Zim
The next thing ya know it will be a prime destination spot. Then the hotels will go up and there will be life guards on the beach. I hope it can be kept a secret for a while so you and Dave (when he gets better) can enjoy it. Maybe MOM should book us a flight soon before it get to crowded.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
who knew? we hope you gave them a proper welcome!!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a beautiful, serene and peaceful spot!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Maxx
Your mom is good at reading your mind. Walking by your Kansas ocean looks so relaxing. Do you ever see any fish or turtles in there?
ReplyDeleteNina, Myshka, Sasha, Betsy, Lucy, Phoebe and Lily
I only like to share my private riverbed with my friends, but you are very nice opening up your heart to starngers. I could learn a lot from you.

Fun, people to stop and give you a good rub, maybe give you goodies. How exciting.
ReplyDeleteThe silvers and more
I'm thinking it was MM that gave the Kansas Ocean it's sudden popularity. Woo can blame the RH for all the tourists now in your hidden gem. sigh. maybe woo should set up a kissing booth. woo could make boo coo bucks with the tourists who'd fawn all over woo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool place! Did those people come and see you? How exciting!
ReplyDeleteWell, we know YOU are the main tourist attraction, but those other tourists things always open up near the main one.
ReplyDeleteDid you get to meet them?
ReplyDeleteMaybe they brought a picnic and wanted to share!
xoxo,
Nora
BOL - did you ask them?
ReplyDeleteSam
I hope you got some petting out of sharing your ocean with those people.
ReplyDeleteCindy & Nina

I sure hope your favorite spot isn't overrun with tourists and the secret is out, Zim!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch
As long as they don't put up any hotels, or signs that say NO DOGS ALLOWED. Then these people can visit as much as they like.
ReplyDeleteHuffs
How exciting to have tourists visiting your ocean! Wonder if they're from somewhere far away like Nebraska!
ReplyDeletePeeS: Your comment on our blog today made our mommy laugh until her eyes leaked!

ReplyDeleteWe just found your blog - you guys are awesome! :) Very nice to meet you
ReplyDeleteZim - that's such a beautiful spot - I'm surprised you don't have MORE tourists there!!
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Well, it was only a matter of time. I suspect there will soon be a boardwalk with arcades and games of skill.
