Look at where we headed:
Mom took that out the sunroof! Can you tell where we were going? Check it out:
That's right - to the Top of the World!
Can you tell how windy it was? I look like I was having a bad fur day, don't I? Ha roo, you should have seen Mom's hair! (ahem!) ... or maybe not. Do you like my camouflage job?
Anyway, check out the beautiful view!
Gorgeous, isn't it? And the clouds! Wowzers, they were so cool!
"Doesn't it look awesome?" |
We walked a bit, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells.
I love it up there.
What a great place to go exploring!
Oh, and it took about more than 12 hours, but thanks to those clouds, we finally we had a cold front move in - we went from in the mid-60s to the 30s (yea!) and overnight we had a massive thunder-hail storm roll through! It was incredible. For some reason, Mom wouldn't let me go out and take pix of it all. Go figure!
Thanks for coming with us on our cool adventure!
Play bows,
Zim
Humans are rude. I wanted to go out in the rain in the middle of the night too and i was told, "GO TO BED NORA." Rude. Rude. Rude.
ReplyDeleteDo you guys ever hike Konza trail?
xoxo,
Nora
Those clouds are way cool. I think your fur looks fine. But if you are worried maybe next time you could use some fur spray. I hear it works good on windy days, at least that's what my MOM tells me. I don't have bad fur days cuz mine so short. The only thing that flies in the wind with me is my ears.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking me along on your walk.
Blessings,
Goose
That looks like fun! Your fur blends in really perfectly. I could barely see you in some of those pics1

That's a pretty cool adventure to see the clouds Zim! Wonder why your mom wouldn't let you go out to see the storm though. Humans can be spoil sports.
ReplyDeleteYour Kansas skies are beautiful, Zim! what, no pictures of the storms?!? Not even on one of your 0'dark-thirty yard patrols?!? we'd say your mom was a party pooper but you just have too many cool adventures otherwise :)

Those clouds sure do look a little scary. But that is after we just had a ton of tornadoes roll through.
