Ten-ish Anyone?

Wooooo, it's me - Dave! Exhausted ...

but sooooooo happy! Zim told you a little bit about our wonderful visit with the Mala-moms and now I get to tell you some more!

It was a cool enough coincidence that they delivered Thunder and Skyler to their furever homes on Adopt-a-Dave Day ... but now today ... the day I get to share some pictures of the Mala-moms' visit ... is my honorary birthday! Ha woooooo! I'm 10-ish! Double digits - isn't that great!?!? (Amber helped me choose the title for today's post - can you tell?!)

OK... so here is the BESTEST (early) present I got. Are you ready for it!!??!!

A hug from Hollybollyboo's mom!!!!!!!

Woooo, was that a great hug! I've been waiting a long time for that! She said she has been, too! She's known about me for years and years and years! Amber's there, making sure everything was OK. She's like that.

Here we are greeting Summit's mom - or as Khyra calls her, Summi's mummi. Woo. We barely let them in the door, then we had to lavish them with affection. Sorry the shot is so blurry; we couldn't wait for Mom to get the camera at the right setting!

Am is going in for a smooch and I was showing Summi's mummi my tummi. Woo. What an action-packed photo! Here's a better shot:

Holly's mom, Ammy, and me and Summit's mom.

There's a good chance Zim had just goosed Holly's mom, but I'm not sure. I was too busy getting tummy rubs!

We had such fun entertaining Holly's mom and Summi's mom, letting them give tummy rubs and special scratchies and all, and the bipeds did lots of talking and laughing. It was so wonderful of them to stop to see us! We really appreciate them taking the time to visit!!!

Holly's mom brought me something really cool. Holly and I are going steady or are engaged or something now. Can you see what's hanging with my dog tags?

No? Here's a close-up.

That's right - a license plate that reads, "Holly." She has one that reads, "Dave." I hope she wears it!

This is so cool!

We'll share more pictures tomorrow! OH! And we're going to correct our Sunday Salute right after I publish this - the Mala-moms logged in 2000 miles over the weekend! Remarkable!!! We love these ladies!

Luv,
Dave

More Thinking ...

Ha roo, pups, it's me - Zim! Wowzers, did we have FUN meeting the Mala-moms last night! Mom took plenty of pictures - we'll get those up later in the week! Suffice it to say for now that we put on quite the show for them; we had to make their trip worthwhile! Ha roo roo roo!

Moving on to other news ... Our friends Maya and Kena have given us an award! It's the Thinking Blogger Award!

This is so cool - thanks, roo guys! Stormy has received this before, but not all of us! Here are the rules ...

1. You must write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
2. Acknowledge this post.
3. Optional: Proudly display the Thinking Blogger Award with a link to the post that you wrote.
4. Go tell your humans to fork over the treats!

How totally cool! We would like to present this award to:

1. Holly and 2. Summit. You guys always give us lots to think about! And now that your moms are home, we've given you something to think about! Can you smell all the cool scents we left all over them?!? We also gave your moms lots to think about. Mainly how we're all calm and mannerly in all the pix on our blog ... but like I said ... we put on QUITE the show last night. They're re-thinking their whole image of us. Ha roo roo roo! What a blast! All four of us did zoomies. And I have a new nickname! Hey, Summi! Your mom called me "The Zimstigator"! Ha roo roo roo! I love it! I wonder what it means? Something to think about, I suppose.

Amber took this picture of us after the Mala-moms left last night. We were exhausted! All that entertaining just zaps the energy right out of you!

3. Khyra. She gave us a lot of good intel for our post yesterday and helped keep us updated on how the Mala-moms and Thunder and his new family were doing. And she makes us re-think this whole concept of spelling.

4. Hammer. He makes us think about the value of friendship all the time. That's REALLY worth thinking about!

5. Last, but not least by ANY stretch of the imagination ... Prince and Summer of Team Husky! Prince gave me a LOT to think about the other day, when he spilled the beans about Summy having a crush on me. ME! Can roo believe it!?!!? I hope Sitka believes in the "a girlfriend in each hemisphere" rule! Summer's in New Zealand, so that works, doesn't it!?!? I mean ... Summer is SO bee-roo-tiful! I'm no Pippa or anything (he's got tons of girlfriends!), but a Sibe in each hemisphere sounds OK, doesn't it?

Here I am, thinking about Sitka and Summer.

What a couple of bee-roo-tiful babes!

Come to think of it, I spend a LOT of time thinking about Sitka, so I'm going to give the Thinking Blogger Award to her, too.

Thanks again, Maya and Kena! And a very special thank roo to the Mala-moms for coming to meet us! We had a blast. But you probably figured that out. Ha roo roo roo!

Play bows,
Zim (AKA The Zimstigator!)

Sunday Salute - The Mala-Moms!

It's me - Dave! Stormy is letting ME do the Sunday Salute this week! I'm going to start off with a question! What do this guy (Skyler)...

...and this guy (Thunder)...

...have in common? They were both rescued and transported by the Mala-moms this weekend! That's right! Holly's mom and Summit's mom did a whole lot of hard, hard work, planning, coordinating and driving to get these two pups to their furever homes! And for all those two wonderful ladies have done to make this happen, we Salute them!

First, to understand the length they went to this weekend, a little background. Summit's mom lives in Iowa; Holly's mom lives in Nebraska. I got a little fuzzy on the details of what all was going on, but my very good friend Khyra helped fill me in! (I wanted to make sure she got some credit. Errr... "khyredit". Woo.) The American Mid-West is a very large area, and although all the states I'm mentioning and am going to mention are "connected", I checked with Stormy and these two ladies will have put in over 1400 miles when all is said and done. Woo. (Map to follow, courtesy of Stormy.) [Editor's correction: The whole weekend trip was 2000 miles!!!]

Thunder was in Iowa and a very sweet lady in Colorado Springs, Colorado fell in love with him. She already has a Sibe and two Pomeranians and was ready to add to her pack. If someone could get him to her, she would adopt him. The Mala-moms jumped on it and offered to take the whole trip on themselves! and we're talking one-way of over 700 miles. Woo. When the nice lady in Colorado Springs told her pups they were getting a brother, they started looking for him.

Here's Stormy of Colorado, checking out the window for Thunder! Her pal JoJo is standing by!

Then the Mala-moms heard about Skyler. He was in Salina, Kansas. Not really on the way, but sort of. He was heading to Castle Rock, Colorado. They decided to help that little guy, too!

So the Mala-moms met up, got Thunder, and headed to Salina to get Skyler. The two pups did great together, from what we heard. Thunder even helped drive part of the way - check this out!

Remember, Siberians are working dogs! He's obviously hard at it!

The Mala-moms got Skyler safely to his destination - and last night dropped Thunder off at his new home in Colorado Springs! He has some adjustments to make, but he was settling in nicely last we heard. They spent the night in Colorado and are driving through HERE on their way home! I just can't wait to meet them! We're all excited and plan to put on quite the show for them! I'm going to do my best to get my fur all over Hollybollybananaboo's mom so Holly can get good sniffies of me! And I'm going to hug BOTH of the moms to say "thank woo" for rescuing Thunder and Skyler!

Here's their itinerary. Quite impressive, isn't it?

We wish both of these boys much, much happiness in their new homes. Their news leashes on life would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of Holly's mom and Summi's mom. For all these dedicated pup-lovers do ... we salute you!

The Army of Four (and especially Dave!)

PS: Maybe I should start looking out the window for them!

Are woo out there yet?!?

Great Day for a Homecoming!

Woo, everypup! It's me, Dave! Back in January of 2002, someone posted to the Siberian Husky list Mom and a lot of the other bipeds who are owned by Sibes are on about a Sibe right here in our town; he needed bailed out of the slammer and transported to a rescue group's foster home in Oklahoma. Mom heard the call. Here's part of the post she sent to the group:

"Can anyone help us with 'Yodel' ...? He's a cuddler --who out there wanted a cuddler??? He gives soft, low, gentle "woos", loves to be hugged, loves being scratched, especially in that special spot right at the base of the tail......... "wooooo", was his comment on that. Loves to give you a full-body lean. BUT prior to me getting there, he was acting like a caged animal (go figure) and is driving the animal techs nuts. They didn't realize what a sweetie he was until they saw how he was with me. He's lonely. Takes food gently... will sit for food... I'd peg him at 3-4 years but in need of a teeth cleaning. BEAUTIFUL boy. Already neutered. Black and white, blue eyes. Wound on muzzle from another dog healing cleanly. Energetic, bright-eyed, in need of companionship and exercise! Amenable to me inspecting teeth and the muzzle wound, not shy with people, no problem looping a slip-lead over his head..... basically showed no fear of anything. Friendly. Did I mention he likes to snuggle? :) Played with a toy with me, but was more interested in getting OUT of there. Anybody? Please?"

Do you know who that Yodel really was? ME! Dave! Woooooo! And that email was sent 6 years ago today ... the day Mom and Dad brought me home! Woo, it's my Adopt-a-Dave Day! (Mom sure had me pegged in that first email about me, didn't she?) You can read more details about my adoption at this link and see a couple more early pictures here. What a great day! And rather coincidental, given who's coming to visit tomorrow ... and why!

Did you see the comment the D'Azul Siberians left on yesterday's post? They guessed right - and some other Sibes dropped some mighty big hints! Yep - I get to meet the mom of my bee-woo-tiful friend Hollybollyboo and the mom of my Malpal Summit! Woo, I am so excited! They're on a rescue and transport mission this weekend - much like what was scheduled for me all those years ago! Isn't that cool?!? They are taking a gorgeous Siberboy named Thunder from Iowa all the way to Colorado! We wish them safe travels and wish Thunder TONS of happiness in his furever home! I hope things work out as well for you as they have for me! Woo!

The Mala-moms are coming!

I better catch up on my beauty sleep!

I sure hope Summi's and Holly's moms like me! What a great Dave-aversary gift! Woo!

Luv,
Dave

Best Friends!

Hi everypuppy! It's me - Amber! I just can't believe this, but we've been given another award! This is the Best Friends Award and it comes to us via our most favorite Scotsman, Marvin! Thank roo so much! You're such a sweet puppy!!!

We talked this one for a long, long time and decided together who we'd like to pass the award along to! We would like to present this award to Holly, Sitka, Frankie and Maddie, Tubey, and Meeshka. We had a hard time deciding and limiting our selections, but we've known these Sibes (and Maddie) the longest of anypuppy! Since before blogging days! They're very special to us -- and so are all of you!!!

Stormy said I should also post a picture of which ones of us are best friends within the Ao4 proper. Here we are!

Me (Ammy), Dave, Storm, and Zimmie

We're all best friends! And this is what we'd like to be doing right now! Unfortunately, that picture is from two years ago. Right now, it's almost 40 degrees and most of our snow is gone. Hrumph!

This news flash just in! We're going to meet the moms of two of our fellow bloggers this weekend!!! We're soooooo excited, we can hardly wait! Anypuppy want to guess whose moms we're meeting!?!?

Love,
Amber

PS: We LOVE all the captions for the picture of Davy and Zim on yesterday's post! Any more ideas???

Thinking Blogger; Something to Think About

Ha roo, pups! It's me - Stormy! I feel very humbled and honored today - our new friend Samaritan over at Jan's Funny Farm presented me with this award!

It's the Thinking Blogger Award! Wow! Samaritan said he was presenting it to me, "because she took up Beau's cause and gathered the Troopers together, regular A04 Troopers and Volunteer. She doesn't just think, she acts." OK, actually at first, he called me a "he", but we've got all of that straightened out now. It's not like he and I can do sniffies over the internet! Thank you so much, Samaritan - I'm really touched! One of the unexpected but delightful aspects of Operation Bring Beau Home has been all the new friends we've made!

Here are the rules attached to this award:

1. You must write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
2. Acknowledge this post.
3. Optional: Proudly display the Thinking Blogger Award with a link to the post that you wrote.
4. Go tell your humans to fork over the treats!

I especially like number 4; perhaps that's just me. And the container of yogurt someone is eating right now.

Thank you, Samaritan! This was very kind of you! I would like to present the award to the following bloggers who make me think:

1 and 2. Charlie the Big Dog and Opy - the true master-minds behind OBBH. Their blogs aren't just fun and entertaining, they also make us think about our friends and fellow Dogs With Blogs members. We are so happy to be a part of that caring group of bloggers!

3. Marvin. A most profound hound. I made that rhyme on purpose, Marvin, just for you. You are my favorite poet. Uh... right after Dave, of course. If you didn't see the touching poem Marvin left on yesterday's post, please go back and read it. It's quite wonderful! "...Love and Loyalty, who could ask for More!" Indeed, Marvin!

4. Echo. We love reading The Daily Echo; not only does Echo have a positive message to share, but just seeing him reminds us of the great work done by rescue groups all over the world! You see, back in 2003, a very pregnant Siberian named Sissy was taken into rescue by the caring, loving bipeds of the MaPaw Siberian Husky Rescue group. We helped our mom with a fund raiser for Sissy and her babies. One of those babies grew up to be the handsome, kind pup we know as Echo!

5. Tucker. He's very cerebral. His posts always give us a lot to think about. I like the conversations he has with his Human Assistant.

And now ... here's something for you to think about. A new picture of my brothers - Dave and Zim.

How would you caption this photo? Please leave suggestions in our comment section!

Storms

We're Good to Go!

Hi everypuppy! It's me - Amber! We would like to thank some very special friends for presenting us with some very special awards!

First, to our dear friends Summer and Prince at Team Husky, and to the very sweet Lacy Lulu - many thanks for the You Make My Day Award! This award is presented to bloggers whose blog brings you happiness & inspiration and makes you feel happy about Blogland. We are so honored to receive it from our friends!

We just gave the award to Prince and Summer, but they said, "We just had to give this award back to you cause we love you guys so much!!!" Aren't they the sweetest!?!? We love you guys, too!

Our new friends Maya and Kena presented us with the Bloggers of the World Award! Wow!

That's so thoughtful! Thank you, girls! We are honored to receive the award - and are very touched!

We love and appreciate our readers and fellow bloggers so very much! We pass the Bloggers of the World award along to each one of you!

We'd also like to give a shout-out THANK ROO to Opy and Mr. Charlie the Big Dog and their humans for being the master-minds behind Operation Bring Beau Home and for helping so many of us get our helmets on! You are so very generous and kind!!! And check this out!

Rough and Tumble Outdoorsy Type

Ha roo, pups! It's me - Zim! As you know, Siberian Huskies are rough and tumble outdoorsy type of dogs. Pulling sleds, barrelling through snow, herding reindeer - we do it all! Well, maybe not us, except for the snow part, but at least our ancestors and relatives. Now ... after reading our blog, you might have the wrong idea about us members of the Ao4 -- you know, that since we're "indoor" pups that we might be spoiled and not quite so rough and tumble. Not true, readers! Just this week, I fought off a polar bear! That's right - a polar bear!

There I was, catching some well-deserved sack time, and I was viciously, savagely attacked by a polar bear! I caution you - these pictures are not for the faint of heart! Here he is, sneaking up on me!

Pssst! Hey Zim! Pssst!

It was horrifying! We thrashed around for a long while. He had me pinned for a short time ...

Gotcha, Zim!

But I fought hard, and finally got him RIGHT where I wanted him.

Zzzzz....... OH! I mean, "Grrr!"

That's right. My name is Zim. Polar bears fear me!

Play bows,
Zim

You Make My Day!

Tail wags, pups! It's me - Stormy. I was just hanging around the kitchen this morning, waiting to go on our morning walk. Kind of feeling "blah" - it's sort of rainy out and most of our snow is gone. You know how it goes.

Ho hum.

Dave was checking the comments left on our blog and said, "Hey, Storm! China and Madie's mom Melissa gave us an award!" Wow! This is so nice!

You aren't joking, are you, Dave?

He said he wasn't! Check it out! It's the "You Make My Day" award.

The rules are to pass the award along to up to 10 people whose blog brings you happiness & inspiration and makes you feel happy about Blogland.

How nice is that!?!? We are truly honored, Melissa! Thank you so much!

It's hard to limit who you pass an award along to.... but here are some of the blogs we truly enjoy and that make us happy and inspired:

Sitka and Tia's Blawg
Marvin the Hollow Hound
Camp Follower Bags
The Daily Echo - Echo
Hammer - Beau's brother
Frankie and Maddie: Got Chocolate?
Marls in Charge - Marley (and Ziggy!)
Team Husky - Summer and Prince
Steve, Kat & Wilbur
Snorrok Siberians in Norway

As I said, that's only a handful of the blogs we enjoy and would like to pass the award to.

Thank you SO much to Melissa; I hope China and Madie will give you a gentle lick on the nose for us! Ha roo roo roo!

Tail wags,
Storms

Sew What Sunday III

Ha woo, pups, it's me - Dave. Guide Dog for the Color Blind. As a follow-up to last week's Sew What Sunday, I thought I'd show you the pictures of the bag Mom made for our grandma.

Before I begin, I want to share a comment our pal Tucker left on that post. He said, "I 'specially like the reversible bag! When it's full one way you can turn it the other way and fill it up again!" He's so CLEVER! I never would have thought of that! Ammy keeps giggling over his comment; I'm not sure why. He's just so smart! Woo.

OK, so Mom actually used a pattern for this one. She made a shop sample for the Bernina Shoppe and followed all the directions, so shoppers could make one just like hers. Mom didn't really like the directions, but that bag turned out OK. Here's that one.

It's the Gypsy Bag by Moonshine. Anywoo... for Grandma's bag, we chucked the directions out the window and did it like Mom wanted to. She seemed happier that way. Here's how hers came out:

The fabrics are by Laurel Burch, a really talented artist who unfortunately recently passed away. In my professional opinion, as a Guide Dog for the Color Blind, she really knew how to use color!

Here's a close up of the cell phone bag Mom made to go with the purse.

See the fishy? It's glass. Mom had made Grandma a necklace, earrings and bracelet using those and some Czech glass beads and some pewter charms that were different ocean-type of stuff.

On the left side of the purse, Dad hammered a big grommet in for Mom and she hung a key chain from it - either to use or to be decorative or to clip other stuff to. She made some hangy-down things out of more of those glass fishies and some glass beads. They are lime green and match the cell phone bag. I made sure of it! We didn't get a close-up of that. I'm not sure why.

Here's a peek inside.

You can kind of see the thing hanging from the grommet. Cool, huh? And color-coordinated! Mom put more pockets in there than directed. That seems like a good thing.

That's it for today, pups. We're on to new projects soon. I better rest up - choosing fabric for Mom can be exHAUSTing!

Luv,
Dave

Coming At You, Echo!

Ha roo, pups! It's me - Zim. Not much going on here today. After a nice spell of sub-zero temps, we're going into melt-down today. Not much left of my cool snow fort, so I've been looking around the house to see what I can get into. Umm... I mean help with.

Mom was busy in the kitchen, so I stopped in to see what she was making. I saw the Bundt pan out, so I thought maybe she was making the apple cake my very bee-roo-tiful friend Sitka's mom shared. She said she wants to make that one soon, but needed to use up some egg nog ... so she made an Egg Nog Cake. Mmm... take a look!

I've got to try to send a hunk of this to our buddy Echo. He'd LOVE this! We've sent him some before and it got there - I'll have to try it with this one. I hope the almonds don't clog up the D-drive!

Hey Echo! Make sure you share with Meeka. We know he's upset about your dad going out of town without him; a little cake might just be the thing to cheer him up!

Play bows,
Zim

Operation BBH P-update and Moose

Woo, everypup! Stormy asked me to post an important p-update to Operation Bring Beau Home. We've seen a lot of your pictures with your helmets on, fired and up ready to go! You all look GREAT!

Our good buddies Charlie and Opy have tasked their dad to do something really cool. They are collecting all the pictures of us guys working on Operation BBH to make a collage for Beau's mom! That's mighty nice, isn't it? And for those of us having trouble putting the helmets on our pictures, they're going to have their dad do it for us! How nice is that? Woo, I'd like to hug their dad for all of this! Surf on over to their blogs for the full details - and send those pictures to Opy at her email address, opy at gruffpuppy dot com dot au. Stormy said to make sure you do it. Now! (It's best not to ignore her when she barks orders like that. Trust me.)

So ... I'm not sure if this is another one of Amber's jokes. Maybe you pups can help me out with this. She said she watched Mom do her hair the other morning and saw her put a moose in it.

Seriously? I find that shocking!

You'd think a guy like this would weigh her hair down rather than help pouf it up!

I'm going to have to check Mom's head more carefully. I don't know how I missed the moose before this.

Unless... you don't think Ammy's joking around again, do you?

Luv,
Dave

Package AND An Award!

Hi everypuppy! It's me today - Amber! I have SO much exciting news to tell you! I better get started NOW!

The first order of business is to thank everyone for joining together for Operation Bring Beau Home! It's exciting to see so many participants! You don't have to be a Trooper in the Ao4 to band with us, but if you would like to be a Trooper, just let us know and we'll contact you! You can click on that hyperlink to the Trooper page and find the secret email address for us there - or leave us a comment!

Next up - a BIG thank rooooo to our dear Beagle friends Jazz and Dixie! Those sweet puppies have given us an award which we will proudly post to our blog!

We love being friends with Jazz and Dixie - and if it wasn't for Dogs With Blogs, we probably wouldn't have gotten to know them! That being said, we'd like to pass the award along to the masterminds behind DWB, Opy and Charlie! The hard part about getting an award is that we'd like to pass it to EVERYpup, but Stormy said that's not how you're supposed to do it... so we're going to limit it to Opy and Charlie, but please know we are SO VERY grateful for all of our blogging friends!!!

Last, but not least ... we got a PACKAGE yesterday!!! I was there when Mom brought it in and she let me sniff it first!

Look, everysibe! A package for us - from the Hollybollybooster!

Oh, it was so exciting! Dave opened the card and just kept wooing over the "bee-woo-tiful" picture of Holly.

Look, you Sibes! It's Holly! My Holly!

Zim helped Mom unpack the box! He found some chewies that smelled REALLY interesting, but he insisted there was something else in the box. Something even BETTER!

Really, Mom! Dig a little deeper. Let me help!

Mom did dig in and found a beautiful box with a coffee mug in it! It has sled puppies on it! Oh, I just love it - I'll bet the sled puppies had so much fun running and running and running in the lovely snow!

Since Zim tricked Dave the other day, I decided to have a little fun with Zim. He saw the coffee mug, but I was the first to stick my snooter in it! It's nice and wide and amply-sized for Sibe snooters!

Oooh, Zimmie! Yes, a coffee mug! And it's full of cappuccino!

Hee hee hee! Zim was skeptical, so I winked at Dave and said, "It's full of cappuccino already, right, Dave?"

It's Hollybollyboo! She's so bee-woo-tiful!

But Dave was ...otherwise engaged. Oh, Davy! So I winked at Stormy and asked her! She winked back and stuck her snooter in!

Oh, yeah, Ammy! Mmm.... cappuccino! Right, Dave? Dave? DAVID!

We both looked at Dave.

Did you girls say something? Look! It's HOLLY!

... but he was still otherwise engaged. You can't blame him! Holly IS the most bee-roo-tiful Malagal! Anyroo, temptation got the best of Zim and he couldn't resist sticking his snooter in the cup!

WOW! I love this cup! I can get my snooter all the way in!
But wait a minute ... there's no cappuccino in here!

Hee hee hee! We couldn't resist! Zim thought it was pretty funny - especially later, after Mom washed it then made some coffee to go in it! It's the perfect size!!!

Holly, thank roo soooooo much for your thoughtful gifts! We love the mug and we'll enjoy the chewies and we just TREASURE the card! Especially a certain freckle-nosed member of the pack. :)

Jazz and Dixie, thank roo soooooo much for the lovely award! We are proud and honored to call you our friends!

And to all of you participating in Operation Bring Beau Home - thank roooooo!

Love,
Amber

Hey... Wait A Minute!

Woo, it's me - Dave. Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad that Zim's back issues aren't giving him any problems right now. And I'm really glad that he can go on the longer walks with Dad and Amber again (it's too slippery and cold to run right now). But hey ... wait a minute!

Can't I go, too, Dad? Dad? Dad???

What does "Two arms, two Siberians" mean?

Oh, sure. I went out with Mom and Stormy to find Dad and the red-heads like we do ... and we had lots of fun. But a little guilt trip can lead to cookies, tummy rubs, and lots of sweet talk. Woo.

Luv,
Dave

New Orders for 2008!

Ha roo, pups! It's me - Stormy, Supreme Commander of the Army of Four and all of our Troopers. Listen up - I've got important orders for you for the new year! Two distinct sets of orders. I called the Ao4 together for me to brief them up.

Left to right: me, Dave, Zim and Amber

Once everysibe reported in, I told them what the first mission is: to wish Drill SGT Zim a happy honorary birthday! That's right - it's the day we celebrate his birth! (Not to be confused with his "gotcha day" or Zim-aversary. That's in July.) I can't believe he's 8 years old now! As Mom likes to say, "He's 8 years ... going on 8 months." Ha roo roo roo! I'm sure she means that in the nicest way possible. We all sang the Birthday Song to him ...

Aw, shucks, you guys! Thanks!

...then we got down to business. They knew we had another, extremely important mission.

Here's the other mission. It's a big one, Troopers, and we need your help! To begin, watch this video of me briefing the rest of the Ao4 and yes, our mom. It's that big; get the bipeds involved! Yes, most of it's in Bark. Some is in Siberian. I realize not all bipeds understand those languages, so our very dear friend and dedicated Trooper Charlie the Big Dog had his dad work a little magic. He put subtitles in, so there is no mistaking what you need to do! Ready?

That's right - I'm calling this mission Operation Bring Beau Home! Click that link for my complete set of orders, and to view Beau's video. Do it! Now!

Who's with us? Let's get started right away! Stick together, pups and bipeds, and be careful out there. We will succeed!

Tail wags,
Storms

PS: Let me clarify my orders: This mission is open to ALL! I'm urging all of you out there reading - especially fellow members of DWB (Dogs With Blogs) - to help spread the word about Beau! Thank you. Carry on.
