Thank You, Koobie!

Woo, everypup, it's me, Dave! Who all is going to that cool Scots-Irish festival in Pennsylvania this weekend? Not ME! - the biggest fan of bagpipe music in all the world -- that's who isn't! It's one of those "we live too far away" things again. Woo. This is really getting old: first the Hike N Howl, and now a weekend full of bagpipe music!

Oh, well ... Mom said we can't go to PA, but we can listen to bagpipe music. I got all our CDs together, and we're going to spend the day in the Quilt Studio. That should be cool!

Speaking of cool and Pennsylvania ... our very sweet friend Koobuss presented us with this lovely award:

What a really nice thing to do! We are deeply honored, Koobie! Thank woo so much!

It was hard for us to decide who to pass it along to ... but given the theme of the weekend, we're going to give the award to our favorite Scotsman - Marvin! We love his blog!

Thank woo again, Koobie! Hey... since you're in PA, are you going to the Scots-Irish fest? Or are you really going to the PSU-Notre Dame game like another puppy mentioned? (Mom is a graduate of that PSU thing!) Anyway ... thank wooooooo for the blog award! And Marvin - we luv your blog! We thoroughly enjoy your stories and pictures and your many cool adventures! Woo!

Luv,
Dave

PS: I hope all of our friends who do get to go to the Green Lane Park festival have a REALLY great time! Wooooooo!

  3. Sounds like a neat festival. You would have liked the most recent wedding that my parents went to....at the reception they had a lot of Scotish music. :)

  5. The Human Assistant says he doesn't listen to bagpipe music very much. But he sometimes hums Scotland the Brave in a really annoying fake bagpipe version.

  6. My mom loves Scotish and Celtic music too! Plus, she's got a lot of Scotch and Irish heritage too! Maybe we should move to PA instead of MN. Seems like they have a lot of fun things going on out there!

  11. Awww Dave. We'll send bagpipe vibes to you from the festival today. Yesterday it was Meeka's turn to go visiting. He was having such a great time Dad had to literally drag him back to the Jeep! Today it's Shyla's and my turn and guess what? My canine Mama - Sissy - will be there! Stay tuned for pictures!

  12. Louka: It's almost like your mom doesn't trust you!

Khyra! So ... are you excited about meeting Butters? ;) Woooo!
I don't get it with those Lions - like you said, they're just over-grown CATS. Who would choose a mascot like that? I think the blue eyes thing just happened!

Amici: That would be so cool!

Canyon: I can't wait to hear all about it!

Tucker: I like "Scotland the Brave"! Is your dad a good hummer?

Hollybollyboo: Maybe your family and mine should get together and have our OWN Scots-Irish fest! Woooooo!

Lorenza: Thank woo very much! You are very kind!

Jazz & Dixie: Thank woo, girls! And we totally understand - it's a busy time for everyone right now!

Chili: Thank woo! And I got to pick the border for a scrap quilt table runner! Once Mom finishes it, I'll post pix!

Echo: Oh, it must have been INCREDIBLE! I hope you have just as much fun today! And you get to see your bio-mama!?!?! That's so cool! Please tell Sissy "woo" for all of us!

    Luv,
    Dave

  16. You are so very welcome, guys! You deserve it, as my friend Larenza said. I am so glad that I was able to share it with you.

I don't think I would like bagpipe music. Grandpa plays the harmonica. That's relatively harmless. Where in PA is this festival?

My mom is not a PSU alum (she went to Wilkes), but other family members are, so we root for them. Besides, this is our state, and we love it here.

I started a new fun game. See my blog for details and play along!

    Koobuss Kisses,
    Koobie
