Weather Control Device

Ha roo, everypup! It's me - Stormy!
Before I get down to today's important business, I wanted to give everyone a paw's up about a GREAT fund-raiser going on! Our friends over at the Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue are holding an e-Bay auction to help raise money for rescue pups in need! They have all kinds of great items for sale - so grab your bipeds' credit cards and start shopping! For more info, please visit the HHNBR site, the auction site, or read our friend Indy's blog! Thanks! Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue is a non-profit organization as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service pursuant to Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Now... you may have been following our progress, or lack of progress, with our Weather Control Device - found in the side-bar of the Ao4 Digest, right under our Flickr badge. It seemed like such a good idea! Put the code in and start programming in the weather we wanted! We had it set for "cold and snowy"!

Could it get much better than that? (That's me in the picture above, by the way. Mom calls it "The Perfect Storm"! Ha rooo!) I ran the whole thing past Amber, our Weather Specialist, and she said she could dig it. (See below!)

We'll post more another time on Amber's weather predictions. She actually teaches Meteorology at the Stormy Zoluschka Kryschtal School of Siberian Studies - but more on that another time!
But alas! Our Weather Control Device appears to be broken. Or unresponsive, at best. Or perhaps nothing more than a link to the Weather Channel! It's supposed to be in the 50s again today, for rooing out loud! That's when Am had a great idea - look underneath that first weather thing! Yes! A different Weather Control Device, and THIS one is set for Siberia's weather! We hope that by putting them one underneath the other, that the top one, set for Kansas, will get the idea, and copy Siberia's weather! How cool would THAT be? (And the answer to that question is apparently 2 degrees F!)
Wish us luck, everypup!

Tail wags,
Stormy

Sunday Salute - Nikki & McKinley

Welcome to our second Sunday Salute! Each week, as promised, we will blog about or hear from one of our friends. They’ll share their latest adventure, cool discovery, or tell us a little bit about themselves! This week, we are spotlighting our friends in South Africa, Nikki and McKinley!
As you may recall, Nikki and "Big M, little c" have checked in once before, after an important bunny-sighting! Here's their P-update on that:

We had such excitement yesterday when we went walkies - we saw the bunny AND the guineas (that is Guinea Fowl). Here is a web site about them. http://www.guineafowl.com/fritsfarm/guineas/african/ We didn't know what to do, chase the Guineas or the bunny???

What a decision! We love to chase bunnies ... and those guinea-birdies look COOL!
They continued:

The bunny ran towards the guineas and they started to run and we wanted to run and our stupid bipeds would not let us :((( AROOO!!!
Daddy says he is getting "Huskietis" in his shoulder from the way I pull him - I told him "Get me a cart" or let me off the lead and he said I did not have a snowball's chance in ...!!

We took the last word off, but we think you know where they mean!
VERY cool that you spotted the bunny and guineas again, roo guys! We all know you could catch them, were it not for the bipeds. While we commend you for keeping your bipeds on a leash, we think your dad might want to show some appreciation for the upper body work-out you're giving him! Think strength-training, Mr. P!
Nikki and McKinley also proposed a little competition! McK said:
Maybe other sibes would like to enter the "Great Hole Digging" Competition? Or How Deep Can You Go?? Nikki and I have been competing for a few months now ...

The start of a brand new hole!

We are trying to visit our friends in Oz - no, no, nothing to do with Dorothy, Oz as in Australia!!!! We actually think the lawn looks very pretty with all these brown holes in it. It is also a safety measure as any burglar would break his neck if he crept around our house after dark - see we are not just pretty faces but also doing our bit as guard dogs!!!!
Who said a sibe didn't make a good guard dog???

Well said, McKinley! Too bad on the Oz thing, though - I thought maybe you meant us! In the US, we refer to such great efforts as "digging to China"!
You and Nikki do a remarkable service for your bipeds! I think there are many other Sibes and other pups out there who stand shoulder to shoulder with you on this and would love to join your competition!!
We'd also like to share another picture of McKinley that really sums up the Siberian outlook on things. If we're not mistaken, he won a photo contest with this one.

Big M little c

Definitely a winner in our book.
Nikki and McKinley, for your incredible work as hunters, personal trainers, landscapers, and guard puppies, we salute you!

Veteran's Day 2006

It's Veteran's Day, everypuppy. Originally called "Armistice Day", we now have Veteran's Day here in the US to honor those who have served and are serving our country in uniform. Today we especially honor our combat veterans. Please take time to remember these brave men and women today. On behalf of the Army of Four, to our Veterans (especially our favorite - our dad!): THANK YOU! We treasure and honor you and your service, and will never forget what you've done for our nation.

Little Kitten AVENUE?

Ha rooo, everypuppy! It's me, Amber!
I have to share another picture of a sign with you. Remember the first one? (I wonder if Meeshka's mom still has that "Signs" song stuck in her head ...) Anyway, this sign is WORSE!

Little Kitten Ave

Yes.... Little Kitten Avenue! It's bad enough that they have the creek named after them, isn't it?

Little Kitten Ave 2

"Zimmie, can you believe it?"

He couldn't believe it. We went home and conferenced about it. We can offer no good explanation.

Conference

We'll let you know if we come up with anything.
Have a happy Friday, everypuppy!
Love,
Amber

Sack Time

Woo. It's me, Dave.

It's been this kind of a day around here (please see photo at right). Too little sleep, too much going on... and our weather-control device is WAY out of whack. It's set somewhere in the 70s still. I'm hot. And I need peace & quiet. And more sleep.

I'll woo to all of you later. For now... I'm off to get some sack time.

Luv,

Dave

Fall Colors

Tail wags, everypup! It's me, Stormy!
Our friends Butchy and Snickers posted some pix of the lovely Fall colors in their yard the other day on their blog. They have a lovely Burning Bush in their yard and we thought they'd like to see ours! That's it on the left, back by the house! Isn't it nice? More red in front with the Crimson Barberry Bushes ... and our nice Japanese Maple behind us. Cool, huh?
Speaking of red..... that's me sporting my red leash next to Dad; Zim is standing next to me, awaiting my orders. Dave and Ammy are behind him.
Thanks for all your nice comments lately; especially the ones about our friend Lukkie! We always try to make a comment back - so if you leave one, check back! We try to respond to every comment, so you know we appreciate it, and we're reading, and well... Zim said it's like marking over your mark...... but no, not really. Well, maybe.
We'll also try to add new videos to Ao4-TV soon. Mom is working on trying to get me to say more Human-speak on camera, but I haven't really felt like saying anything while she's recording yet. Except for the "no" remark I made in response to her question about whether or not I liked my bath. Puh-lease!
Guess that's it for today, except to encourage you to check out our side-bar links. Our cool friends have great blogs, plus more friends on Dogs With Blogs (DWB), and my FAVORITE link, our heroes. That site is updated weekly, so please click it to read about some great Americans. We also congratulate our friend Fargo on being selected as the featured Husky blogger of the month! Way to go, Fargo! Am is hoping we'll be treated to some of your great jokes!
Have a great day, everypup!
Tail wags,
Stormy

Ao4-TV

Hey everypup, it's me - Zim! It's official - we are taking over the airwaves! Or we're starting to, anyway! With the help of Charlie and Opy's dad, we have joined with some of our fellow Dogs With Blogs bloggers and have launched our own TV channel -- Ao4-TV!

AO4-TV

You can watch our cool videos by clicking that box - and, also thanks to Charlie and Opy's dad, we've added a separate link in our sidebar menu, too! You can watch Ao4-TV any time!

My favorite is Stormy speaking Human; I hope she'll teach me how eventually! I've got a B+ going in my Cat-speak class at the Stormy Zoluschka Kryschtal School of Siberian Studies right now!

Tune in to Ao4-TV! And check out our friends' channels, too! DWB-TV rocks!

Play bows,

Zim

What a Stiff!

Woo, it's me again - Dave. Did anypuppy see Saturday's blog? It was there for a few hours, then it went away! I should have saved a copy somehow, but didn't .... and now it's gone. Zapped out of "Siber"-space! I'm trying my best to remember what I wooed!
Mom had me and Stormy out for a walk the other day. Yeah, the day we saw the Giant's cat, in fact! We were walking down the street when Stormy thought she saw somepup we knew!
"Hey, Dave! Check it out! I think it's one of the Dachsies from DWB!"
Woo, how cool! We went over to check him out - the little guy was out in his garden all alone!
"Hey, little fella! How are you doing?" Storm greeted him.
But he didn't have anything to say. At all. He didn't even bark a "hey!" to us. In fact, he was kinda a stiff, so we knew it wasn't one of the Dachsies we know! But Storm's real social, so she kept talking to him.
"Do you know Sammy? Or Roxie? ... how about Andy?"
He still had nothing to say! He didn't even sniff back when Storm gave him a sniffie! After she checked him out, Storms told me he was stoned! Or... maybe she said he was made of stone. It was one of the two.

Hey pup!

Not the lead dog Marvin blogged about, but in the same category, I think. At any rate, this guy was a real stiff. I wish it had been Roxie, Sammy or Andy! They're TONS friendlier!
Luv,
Dave

Sunday Salute - Lukkie

Welcome to the Army of Four’s new feature: the Sunday Salute! Each week, we will blog about or hear from one of our friends. They’ll share their latest adventure, cool discovery, or tell us a little bit about themselves!

As we got ready to launch Sunday Salute, we heard some very sad news. Our friend Lukkie has passed away. (Haik-woo fans will recognize Luke from Haik-woo 20, the brother of Frankie and Maddie.) We thought there could be no better way to start our weekly spotlight than with a tribute to Lukkie!

Lukkie_Bandana

This picture is from this summer, when Lukkie was about 13 years of age. His mom said that Lukkie was all about two things, love and peace. And this gentle pup just loved his mom! His dad said Luke wouldn’t even go to sleep with the rest of the family if his mom wasn't home, and would wait for her at the door. “If he lost me in the house throughout the daily routines, he came so sweetly and silly hunting me down with such great intensity,” his mom told us. "Where’s my mum?" he’d wonder. His mom says that no heart was ever more pure than his. :)

Luke was the one who got his family rolling for the day. His mom said he’d give the bed a nudge with his head and “make silly grunting noises, so sweet.” "Ok Mom, it’s that time!" he seemed to tell her. What a great way to start the day!

Luke with Baby Frankie

This picture is from 2003, when Frankie, the white Siberian Husky, joined the family. People often asked if Frankie was Lukkie’s baby! “Was he the dad?” Both adorable, white and furry!
Frankie says that Luke was the “absolute BESTEST Big brother any puppy could ever ask for!” He allowed her to do anything to him: she stole his cookies and his peanut butter filled Kong straight out from under him when she was done with hers. He would just look up at his mom with the look of, "Moooooom, she did it again….!" But he was so sweet to her. Whenever she had to be reprimanded (which we’re sure wasn’t often!), he hated it. When she was very young, he would run and tell his mom if Frankie was doing something she should not be doing. Frankie’s mom said it wasn’t to tattle-tale, that he told her with nervousness. He didn't want her to get into trouble. He really was all about peace.

Luke1

This is Lukkie’s mom’s absolute favorite picture of him. She told us, “To me, it always conveyed exactly how he was. This was the Lukkie look, facial expression and body.” Luke even ate in this position! His mom said that for every meal, “he’d strategically place his body so the bowl was in between his two front feet, lay and eat! He loved breakfast at 7:00, but dinner had to be at 3:00 exactly. He had an amazing clock inside of his tummy. It is no exaggeration to say that he was in position and ready and barking for me to come fill the bowl at 3:00 p.m. If I was late and not paying attention, with each passing minute the bark and noises got louder. He LOVED mealtime.”

Lukkie’s mom also told us about his lovely fur! She said, “…his fur was the softest fur I think I will ever feel, it was so different. Just like he was. Almost like a rabbit’s fur.”
And look at that lovely nose and muzzle of his! Luke’s mom said, “He used to literally throw himself down in front of me and I knew it was time out to take time out of the busy day, and give what mattered most ~ Love, hugs and lipstick kisses all over his white nose.” She said when she gave him nose smoochies, he would take a looong, deep breath, as if to say, “Ahhhhhhhhhhh energy! I can go on now.” That is a time out well worth taking!

Lukkie passed away at home, while his Mom and Dad caressed him during his last moments. Luke’s mom told us, “It was extremely hard, but it being Lukkie I am glad he had his last breath here with us in his bed he loved so much. We don't know what took him, only that he went very fast through the evening.” He experienced some seizure activity, and they think it could have been a tumor, possibly a tumor on the spleen. He went quickly and did not suffer, but he is oh, so sorely missed. His family and friends will miss gentle Lukkie forever, and love him just as long.

God Speed to sweet Lukkie, his mom’s baby boy. We join with her in wishing you all the love and peace and cookies galore! As your mom said, “There is no limit of treats there for you anymore.” You will always fill her heart, Lukkie of peace and love.

We salute you, Lukkie. And to your loving family, may your tears (and ours) wash away the pain you feel, and may your memories comfort you forever.

Giant Cat!

Woo, everypup! It's me, Dave! Hot on the trail of the Giant once again!
We hadn't seen anything too remarkable for a while, but we have been on the job! And now...... we have something really cool to report!
Mom took me and Stormy on a walk the other day and Stormy spotted it! No..... not the Giant, he's keeping himself hidden so far! And no .... not his dog that dug the big hole. It was... well, Stormy saw it first. She stopped right in the middle of the street.
"Whoa and woo! Dave! Check out the size of that cat up there! It's ... a GIANT CAT!"
At first I thought she was kidding, because sometimes Storms kids around with me. You know, like how she teases me that I'm a Lab wearing a Sibe suit. She's just kidding. I think. Anyway, check this out!

Giant cat 1

Can ya see it?? Up on top of that big punkin! I couldn't believe it! I tried going up the hill to grab it or something, but Storm said maybe the Giant would see me or get mad that I went after his cat. Besides... Stormy actually likes cats and says we shouldn't hurt them. Hmph. I'm not sure about that, but I've learned not to argue with her. I did one of the things I do best. I stared at him.

Giant cat 2

OH, yeah. That Giant Cat knows not to mess with us. And we haven't seen him since Halloween, so I think he definitely got the idea.
One day, we'll find the Giant..... I just know it.
Luv,
Dave

Treasure Chest

Ha roo and play bows, everypup! It's me, Zim! Zim the Pirate, to be more precise!
So there I was the other day, hanging out in the living room. I was dreaming about what Cap'n Maverick, my fellow pirate said about treasure chests and booty. I just know I've seen a chest like that before.

trunk 1

Can't think of where, though.
Dave came in to see what I was doing, so I play bowed and said "Ha roo!"

trunk 2

We went on a zoomies rampage which was great fun, but all the time I was thinking about that treasure chest. Where have I seen one?
Then Storm called me back into the living room.

trunk 3

"Zim! Get in here! And bring Dave with you."

trunk 4

"Who? Us?" (We look innocent here, don't we?)
She said she meant NOW..... so we high-tailed it over to her.
Check this OUT! Look at what she found! All this time, it was right under our noses!

trunk 5

"Is this what you and Maverick have been looking for? Sheesh!"
WOWZERS! She's so SMART! It's EXACTLY what we've been looking for! Now we've gotta figure out how to break into it.
If anypup knows how to open one of these things, let me know!

Until next time, mateys!
Harrrrr and play bows,
Zim the Pirate

Walk to the Park with the Ao4

Woo, it's me - Dave! Mom took lots of pix day before yesterday on our walk to the park; I thought I'd share with all of you.
Here's the first one. That's Storm heading up the hill to the park. You can see some of the pretty Fall colors to the left.

up the hill to the park

At the top of the hill, there is an entrance to the Hudson Trail. It's a cool pathway that goes all over our side of town. We didn't go down there the day we took these pix, but the redheads did some posing on the rocks up there. Here's Zim:

Zim strikes a pose by the entrance to the trail

And Amber:

Am's pose

Pretty tree, huh? And pretty Ammy! Woo!
So then ... down the hill and into the park! Stormy was first in, of course.

park

"Hey, roo guys!" she said. "Check that out -- by the base of the tree!"
She's not just a great leader, she's got sharp eyes! It was a SQUIRREL! It climbed up the tree as soon as it spotted us. Here's the best pic we could get of it:

check it out!

Can ya see him up there!?! SQUIRREL! I circled him in red, Stormy's color, since she was the first one to spot him.
We went a little further, then Dad broke out our canteen and gave us a drink of water. Thanks, Dad! Here's Stormy drinking and me waiting my turn. Girls first, you know!

water break

(The Tooth Fairy took my bottom canine ... or people ... tooth out and I have a hard time keeping my tongue in straight! Woo.)
Then the redheads thought they saw something across the street!

the redheads spot something across the street

Am looks like she's zeroing in on something down the street.
Down near the corner! Trust me! To the right, Zimmie!
So we all hustled down to the corner. Am is never wrong about seeing stuff!

SQUIRREL!

SQUIRREL! See him!?!? Wow, is Ammy GOOD! I did what any Sibe worth his weight in Eukanuba would do. I stared at him.

stare down!

That's me, the back of my head. The squirrel is in the tree.
After a good stare-down, we headed home. I think we taught those park squirrels not to mess with the Ao4!

Dave heading home

Here I am, heading down the home stretch. Stormy was just to my right. She lets me walk in front with her sometimes. That's our house at the end.
Hope you enjoyed our trip to the park; thanks for coming with us! Woo!
Luv,
Dave

Zim's Favorite Sign

Stormy had this great idea. Hey everypup, it's me - Zim. Stormy had this great idea about putting the Weather Channel control device on our blog. She thought maybe we'd be able to control the weather that way! It didn't work so well yesterday or the day before - it was awful out -- highs in the 70s or over 80. And sunny. We worked on it a little bit yesterday, messing around with it a little - and I think it worked! No snow, but right now (0830) we've got this "31 degrees, feels like 21" thing going. Ha rooooo! That's better!

We took cool pix on the way to the park yesterday, but before we share those, I thought I'd share my favorite sign with you. Am posted the one that confused us ... but here's a great one.

Pretty cool, huh? Whatever these guys are running for, they've got MY vote! I love their logo of the bug, don't you?

The only good bug is a dead bug!

Play bows,

Zim

PS: Remember to stay safe tonight! If you didn't read the tips in the newsletter Indy wrote, please click here to read. Safety first!

Flint Hills

Hey, pupperoos, Storms here! Some of my friends, namely Tubey and Meeshka, had some problems blogging over the weekend. I thought I'd take over for us today, in case blogger tried to give us any trouble. I am the ALPHA, hear me roooo! Don't mess with me, Blogger!

Anyroo, Marvin has been posting some mighty cool (dare I say "fandabidozi"?) pix of his hometown in Scotland. We promised to try to show what our side of the park is like; I thought I'd post a little bit about that today!

Our part of Kansas is called "The Flint Hills", and it's that - rolling hills. Not what "Wizard of Oz" fans might expect! There are some great web sites out there with scenic pictures; we liked this one best, possibly because the photographer gives credit to his dog.
As you may have been able to tell from Am's post yesterday, our house sits on the top of a hill. Here's another look; mom shot this when we were coming down the home stretch on a walk the other day:

The back of our house

That's me in the lead, of course. I always take the lead!
Can't see the house very well? Here, try this:

Our house

You can click for a bigger view. And don't panic - I made the neighbors' houses fuzzy. So yeah... those trees are on the banks of Little Kitten Creek. (I know, I know... we didn't pick the name!) From our deck, we can see the field behind the house, the Assisted Living place, the creek area, then the rolling hills/golf course. Oh. And in that first pic up there, you can see the Giant left his Tonka Toys laying around again and scattered the area with candy corn. He's pretty messy!
Here's a typical autumn sunset off the back of the deck:

1 SEP 06 sunset

Pretty, huh? Soon, it will look like this:

8 FEB 04 001

That's what I'm talking about! But before we get to that, we'll go through some rocky weather. Like yesterday, we had a 49-degree difference in our high and low temps of the day. And we'll probably have some "me's" roll in. (That's some "Storms"...) We've got a great view of them and mom likes to go out and take pictures instead of doing something sensible like going downstairs! Even when the great Siberian howls over the city's PA system, she goes out and takes pix. We sing along, just because. And it certainly makes more sense than going outside!
So... here's a good shot of a "me" taken from the deck last year:

27 NOV 05 2

Pretty wild, eh? And come to think of it... a bit more like "The Wizard of Oz" than I may have led you to believe.

twister

Dorothy? Come in off the deck and head downstairs, Dorothy!

Ha roo! Hope you enjoyed seeing some of our scenery!
Tail wags to all!

Say Your Prayers, Bug!

Ha roo, everypup! Zim here - or as some know me, Drill SGT Zim.
See... I'll go into more detail another time about how I got my name, but the short version is that I was named after a character in the Robert Heinlein book Starship Troopers ~ SGT Zim, the Drill Sergeant who saves the day! The enemy is giant BUGS ... and as they say, "The only good bug is a dead bug." It's a motto I try to live up to! Ha rooooo!
So... the other day I told mom I needed to use the yard, so she hooked me up and took me out. Then THERE! Right in the middle of the driveway! Look what I saw!

Bug 1

BUG!!!!!! Giant bug! Right outta the pages of Starship Troopers!
Say your prayers, bug! You're mine!
But then I looked a little closer. Check this out:

Bug 2

It looks like it is saying its prayers! Imagine that!
Mom explained to me that it's a special bug called a Praying Mantis. It was pretty cool looking... and I dunno, I decided to let it live to see another day. (Of course, if I didn't have mom on a leash, I may have made another choice... but hey, you know how it goes!)
There's also a movie version of Starship Troopers, but it's not as good as the book. The guy who plays me does a pretty good job, though!

Any cool bugs on your side of the park?
Dave likes the ones with chem sticks, as per his Haik-woo 15.
Storms hates flies. Just hates 'em! And there aren't too many things she'd use that word over!
Am likes to pounce the really big grasshoppers.
And thanks to yours truly, there's a Walking Stick somewhere around here that's now a Limping Stick. Ha roo roo roo! (Yeah, I know ... but see earlier comment about being on a leash.)

Until next time, play bows, everypup! And remember ... the only good bug is a dead bug!

Signs

Remember that old song, "Signs"? "Signs, signs, everywhere a sign..."? They're all OVER the place here! It's election season ... and bipeds are covering the airwaves, TV signal, and grass with signs!
Hi everypuppy, it's me, Amber! "Vote for this guy", "Vote for that guy", "We need more X", "We need less Y". They're everywhere! Most of the signs make fairly good sense, though there's some confusing local issue about more electives in the school system..... but as the Stormy Zoluschka Kryschtal School of Siberian Studies is a privately run institution, we don't really have to be too concerned about that.
We were out on walkies the other afternoon, though, and this one sign really confused me. I sat by it and asked mom to take a picture of me and Zimmie trying to figure it out. Here we are, with dad:

End Road Work

(You can click that for a larger view.)

What I can't understand is....... why is someone against road work? What do they have against it? I don't quite understand their desire to end road work. Bipeds! I don't think I'll figure them out any time soon.
On a separate note, if you look just to the left of the sign's pole, between it and the back of the sign on the other side of the road, you can see the back of our house! Hello, house!
If anyone can explain this anti-road work campaign, please let me know. To me, where there are roads, there are sidewalks - and that means more walking areas for the Ao4!!!
Happy Saturday and love,
Amber
PS: We've added some new cool links to our sidebar. We hope you'll check them out!

Stormy Speaks Human

Yes, I can speak Human.
Hey pups. Mom took this video of me a few months back but just now has figured out how to upload it here. She should have asked ME!
Anyroo... I had been given a bath a few hours earlier and was finishing off the drying-job on the bed. Of course. Mom thought she'd be funny and asked me if I liked my bath. Puh-lease. She forgot I can speak human when I want to. Listen closely ... and catch my winning smile at the end.

She shouldn't have asked if she didn't want the truth.
Tail wags,
Stormy

Haik-woo for Marvin

Wooo! It's me, Dave.
I've been really moved by the poems my friend Marvin writes. He even wrote a poem about me and my Haik-woo! Can you believe it!?! I feel very touched! You can check his poem out here.

One of his readers asked what Haik-woo is! Basically, it's my own version, the Siberian version, of the Japanese form of poetry called haiku. Three lines of non-rhyming verse, 17 total syllables: 5 in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the last. That's haiku. And it's intense in its brevity! (Stormy taught me that word.) In Haik-woo, it's the same thing - except the last word is always "woo". That's my favorite thing to say, so I finish every poem with it. And it makes it even more challenging to say what you need to say in a limited "space".

So... back to Marvin. I was so inspired, I wrote him a Haik-woo. I hope you like it, pal!

Luv to everypuppy,

Dave ... With totally no disrespect to Robert Burns.

Wanted: Zim the Pirate

Pirate 1

Harrr, everypup! It's me, Zim the Pirate.
My friend Maverick the Pirate linked to a very cool site yesterday. It was a High Seas Adventure. Sail on over and have fun with it! Look at what I found there:

Wanted

click image for a better view
Cool, huh?

Stormy said I should say something about my post from the other day about "People Food". She said I should make it clear that it was a dream of mine to have cappuccino and that I don't really get to have any. It's on the "forbidden foods" list and mom and dad are real careful about that. We actually hardly get any "People Food", except we each DO get 4 slices of bananas a day. We love them and they're good for us. Dave even wrote a Haik-woo about them.
Speaking of Haik-woo........... make sure you catch Marvin's blog! He wrote a poem about Dave and his Haik-woo! How cool is that!?!?
So... while we're on the subject of being careful ... our friend and fellow Sibe Indy made a great post (among many great posts) the other day. He linked to the Harnessed to Hope newsletter he had just written; in it are some GREAT tips for keeping us safe and happy on Halloween. Please click here to read Indy's newsletter! Great job, Indy!

Until we sail again, mateys.........

Parallel Universes

Woooo, everypup. It's me, Dave!
I was checking back through our blog and read a comment from our friend Meeshka. She read Am's post from Saturday and saw the pic of Zim watching the new washing machine. She wrote:

You guys, your human woman gets EVERYTHING my human woman gets! I swear! Those washers and dryers look EXACTLY like those things the human woman just got about a month or so ago. You've got the evil simple human garbage can, you got the evil Dyson thing... what next?

So... Meeshka has one of these:

Cool washing machine

And one of these:

$200 trash can ~ the Ft. Knox of the garbage world

And one of these:

Evil Dyson

Wow. I wonder if she has one of these, too: "RAV4". I wonder if Meeshka has one of these Siberian Utility Vehicles?

We're living in parallel universes!

Luv,

Dave
