Tuffys!

Hi everypuppy! It's me - Amber! Some of my very dear Siberian and Malamute friends and we were talking about a toy called "Tuffys". Some of them like the toy, some of them don't, and then we were discussing if they're really as "tuff" as the makers claim. They decided the SiberMal Society should do some product testing. After further discussion, it was agreed that the testing should fall to me! AKA... the Jaws of Steel. Hee hee hee! I hope I can do everysibeandmal proud!

My dear and beautiful friend Khyra sent me a Tuffy! I knew it was coming, so when the man with the big brown truck dropped the package off, I got to go help bring it in!

This is it! The package from Khyra!

There were actually two packages delivered, and Zim was hoping we were supposed to test what was in the other box!

Ooooh! Latte!!

Sorry, Zim. Mom and Dad said "no".

I opened the box and saw this lovely note from Khyra. I like to read notes first!

She wished me "Happy testing!" (she's so sweet!) and there were some cool coasters in there from Siberian Nights Beer. Ooooh! Is THAT what I'm supposed to try?

Storm checked things out and said these are too cool-looking to chew up and that I should try the Tuffy.

Hmm. I like the colors! And the pretty flowers.

Mom and I took it downstairs, so I could play without anysibe trying to take it away from me. I do some of my best chewing down there! Here I am, trying it out:

Here are my initial findings:

Dave was interested in it, though ...

Can I try it out?

He tried it last night and will post his findings on Monday! Stay tuned!

Love,
Ammy

  2. Oh, I can't wait to see what Dave decided. From the looks of it, you didn't think it was interesting. Hmmm.... maybe we should all get jobs doing product testing. I volunteer for treats.

  3. Hmmm...maybe I should have my mom get one of those for Lakota to product test. She has to pick up all of my toys before he comes in to visit or he DESTROYS them!
Wonder what Dave will think of it. It looks like a good toy to me.

  6. I can hardly wait to see what Dave thinks. It didn't appear to be too impressive from your perspective. Shyla says it's pretty though. That was a nice surprise box! I got one from my buddies Steve & Kat that I'll be blogging about very shortly!

  7. That's a really good video of you in action, Ammy! I was a little confused about the tuffy at first, though, because that's what mommy calls Kongs. When she's not referring to the by name because my Auntique is weird and names my toys. The things a sibe must put up with.

I was very happy to see your video! I'm sorry you weren't that interested by the tuffy, but I hope that Dave liked it.

  8. Ammy,
This is all very interesting for us, since Ari prides herself on being able to destroy ANY toy put before her. You may have found a way for her to meet her match!

PS- My goodness but Khyra has good penmanship. (or should I call that khursive?)

  9. Hmmm. Maybe Dave will enjoy it. Doesn't look like you did.

  10. I think a game of keep away, and toss and catch is a good way to test it out. And, I think since Dave sent the wonky to swim with the fishes, he might be a good tester for this one too!!

  11. Mom just saw a bunch of those at the store where she gets our food, I sure do want one! I can't wait to see what Dave has to say!

  12. The Human Assistant agrees with Louka's mom. Tuffy was the original name of Kongs.

He used to get them for Gremlin and Mutzger. Like 12 or 13 years ago.

The flower thing looks like a toy we had for a short while.

Try chewing on the black around the edges. Even if you can just cut the stitching, the toy should start to come apart!

  13. Too bad about the latte Zim. Our mum also says no to coffee for us!
We haven't seen those Tuffy things here yet. Seems as though you don't think much of it though Amber. We wonder what Dave will think.

  14. That toy didn't seem to do much for you Ammie. We hope Dave likes it better. One pup couldn't care less about some toys and otherpups will love them. Got to keep the humans guessing!! We have a BUNCH of Oswalds and Oswaldias in our neighborhood. The humans are going to have to lay in a big supply of Bunnie Be Gone! Belly Rubs, Tasha & Eva

  15. I can't wait to see what you find out. But the toy does looks like something you could destroy quite quickly, if you decided to. Maybe, however, it is way more durable than it seems to be ...

  16. OMD, we have some tuffies too... but we have to admit, we have breached a few of them and took some of the stuffing out, although we weren't able to completely de-stuff them... dad even got us the big triceratops when we were on vacation... it's as big as me (Izzie)!!! Looks like you're having fun with your tuffy, what a great pattern it has on it!
