Yea! It's the Weekend!

Ha roo, pups and cool cats!  It's me, Zim, here with my big brother Dave!  Even with the Independence Day holiday tossed in there, it was quite a full week here at Ao4 Headquarters and we are really glad the weekend is here!  Not only are our temperatures supposed to come down into the 90s (32-37℃) but there is a small chance we could see some rain tonight!  Given our drought, both changes would be most welcome!

So... the three of us would like to wish you a most enjoyable weekend!

"Three of us?!?  Oh... you mean us guys and Mom?"

Oh.  No.  In all the excitement, I forgot to tell everyone.  Bart's back!

"Good eeeeeevening!"

For those readers not familiar with Bart, he's a little brown bat who spends his Summers with us!  He lives on the underside of our upper deck.  (For a better explanation, please see this very first post we made about him.)  Bart doesn't bother us and we don't bother him.  Mom washes all of the guano he leaves into our Red Prince Weigela every day - and she credits its fullness and beautiful blooms to the fertilizing power of Bart!  The real reason we love having Bart (and his friends) around is that he can eat 1,200 mosquito-sized insects an hour!!!   Go, Bart, GO!
