Tell me that doesn't sound like fun! It was great! So great, in fact, that I'm switching over to cartoon mode like I like to do. Let's play football!!!

Dad was the center and Dave was the quarterback. I was the entire opposing team.
Dave did a quarterback run (probably because he didn't have any retrievers receivers to throw to) and scored! It was a great game!
For the next round, us guys took on Dad! Since Dave did such a great job as quarterback during the first game, we decided he should hold the same position on our all-Sibe team. We had a special trick play all set to spring on Dad!

As you can see, I was in the GO mode as soon as Dave finished the snap count! Then we launched the play!

That's right - the ol' Statue of Liberty Play! As Dave went back to pass, I ran up behind him, took the ball from him and ran up the field with it! We completed our play before Dad knew what hit him! We stopped to mug for the camera like football players like to do:

Dad's got a different notion about football than we do. Ha roo roo roo! Oh, and note Dad is the only one not looking at the camera. Bipeds!

- I'm not sure who won, but I know we all had a blast!
I wish you all had been there with us! I'm sure my mom wouldn't mind. I mean - it's not like we were playing with a ball - right?!? Ha roo!

Looks like you had a great time. Mummy tries to tease us with a "pretend" ball sometimes, but we usually don't want to play with those. However, lazer pen is a great game :)xx

ReplyDeleteWOO HOO! Oh I so wish I could have been there. I am a GREAT running back. I have never been tackled, not once! Oh yea the Statue of Liberty play that's a good one. And the score does not matter as long as fun fun fun was had by all.
