Today's lesson is "Do It If You Feel Like It". It's important to let your biped get a good shot of you on occasion - especially if you want the cookies to keep coming. Just when he is about to give up, let him get a really great picture. Reward him, in other words. It'll make him happy and keep the cookies flowing!
For example, just when Mom was about to give up on Dave and me yesterday, Dave gave her this pose:
See my shadow in there, too? On the brick path? We got cookies when Dave sat AND when Mom downloaded the pix and saw how interesting this one was. Way to go, Dave!
I could give you many more examples, but if you see a good picture of any of us on our blog, you can pretty much assume the following:
1) cookies were involved
2) Mom is thankful she has a digital camera
3) she mentioned to whoever she's trying to photograph that her patience was being tried (whatever that means!)
4) the pictured Sibe gave in at a time of his or her own choosing!
We'll be stopping by your blogs to see your progress! Look! Here's Zim, checking in on one of his best buddies, Marley!
Hey, it's the Mars Bar!
Remember to make the bipeds work for it - but also remember to reward them.
Tomorrow, I'll address those of you who like the camera.
Tail wags,
Storms
GREAT TEAMwork there!
ReplyDeleteAnd after taking notes from today's lesson, I'm whooped!!

Wow, how awesome that Zimmie took a peek at my page! And thanks for posting it, Stormy!
ReplyDeleteTonight I will work with on making the human exasperated. I hope the treat situation works in my favor!
Woo,
Marley!
Cookies are always involved in any good picture in our blog. There is no shame in working for food!

I'm sorry I jumped ahead a lesson in my last comment!
ReplyDeleteThe Human Assistant is also glad he has a digital camera. Me too, I guess. Otherwise he wouldn't have any pictures when I decide to cooperate!
"Film is the cheapest part of taking photos," he says they used to say.
"But one roll of the backs of heads is about 35 backs of heads too many."
I'll do ANYTHING for a cookie!
ReplyDeleteSteve
awesome pictures! you're right, make those humans work for the pictures!
ReplyDeleteDad comments all the time that he's glad he has a digital camera because he'd have to play the lottery to pay for film whatever that means. And I don't know why Mom finds so many pictures of our bewootiful tails so annoying. We'll be working hard at only giving in when they're ready to give up.

That is the coolest picture of Dave (and Stormy's shadow). Mum has no hope of getting a picture like that of me. But I'm working very hard on my pictures!
ReplyDeleteZimmie, the Cat Pack would LOVE to have you as a member. I'm having mum work on a cool logo for us this weekend. All pups are welcome if they are keen.

Dave, you look so wise in that picture. I have a feeling you could explain the whole world--right then and there!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'll stand on my head for cookies (well, maybe not that much). I'm all about cookies.
ReplyDeleteRudy
I am learning so much, who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks is totally wrong!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to post some of my cooperating and non-cooperating photo's for you. I do pretty good at both, and mom doesn't even have to bribe me with cookies! Maybe I need to change my Malatude so I can get some! Mom's usually into the "spontaneous" photo's though. She's never actually tried to get me to pose. Yet.
ReplyDeleteThat pic of you is adorable!!!!!!
Holly
Stormy,
ReplyDeleteYou and Dave are doing so much better than we are! We won't perform for just any cookie. And, Witty won't perform at all. We'll keep watching to see how it's done. We do love to watch the humans get annoyed! It's the best time. It's better than tug toy.
Lola
Yeah, mom tried to get a good pic of all three of us tonight.....didn't happen...but we got the treats flowing with her trying....
ReplyDeleteWOo woo, KA
Oh that is good tips on cooperating for the cameras
