It's Memorial Day weekend here in the States. We'd like to take today to salute our Troops who are currently serving our nation.
We ask that you take time to say a prayer of thanks and a prayer for the safety of our American Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, and Coastguardsmen. They serve, they train, they stand in harm's way so that we might live in peace. We are ever grateful.

PeeEssWoo: I had my mom honour Tasha and her family.
Great job AO4. We can't thank the troops enough for helping protect us and our freedom. They do what some of us only imagine. We are very grateful to all the military folks and the reserves and their families. Thank you for our freedom!

This is a great salute for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteOoh I have just spent hours reading up on your antics. You have been busy and I have not.
ReplyDeleteNow I have forgotten what I have read. Except to say your garden is nice, cats and Oswald need to be chased and I so like that top position lying by the door. (Zim on sentry duty).
Are we still pals Ammy, even though I have not been around?
Pippa
A great salute for sure, guys! We sported our patriotic bandanas this morning on our walkie and mom is flying the flag!

ReplyDeleteA very special Sunday Salute! Thank you for all that you do to keep our troops in our thoughts and hearts. To honor you for that, I have selected your blog as my Read of the Week!
ReplyDeleteGreat salute, Ao4! We're very grateful to all our troops, the great job they've done in the past & the wonderful job they're doing now.
ReplyDeleteWe're pretty lucky - our dad works for the Navy so we live with lots of Navy families, we're so proud of them all! Star's boy-friend Moon is a Navy family dog, they got him when they were stationed in Guam. Can you imagine someone breeding huskies in the tropics?
Wooos & a-rooos,
Star & Jack a-roo too
That's a very nice pic of Zim and Amber
