Most of our yard is way too sunny for them, but she tucked them under the Burning Bush out front, where it's a little shady.
Now for some fun in the back yard! Here I am, up in the top part.
I was sniffing around, seeing what Oswald had been up to out there. Oh, yeah. OK. The little bushes back under the Purple Ash tree behind me (on your left) are Miss Kim Lilacs. Like the Lily of the Valley, they are gorgeous this year. Here's a close-up.
Mom says they smell heavenly. Anyroo... I asked Mom ... "Are you just going to look at your plants, or are we going to play?"
Do you have one of my cool, outside toys with you?
She did! One of my favs, too!
Oh, pup! Let's play! Toss it for me! C'mon, Mom!
I convinced her to throw it for me.
She did. Then I took it and ran off with it. Who does she think I am, Dave? Ha roo roo roo!
We decided to go play on the next tier down after Mom caught up with me. She threw the toy again, and I went and got it. Here's a cool action shot of me running!
Not bad moves for a 12-1/2 year old, huh? (And for those of you who left such kind comments about Dave and his "sproing sproing" - he's 10! Ha roooo for senior citizens!!!)
OK, so Mom threw it and I went and got it. As soon as she saw me coming at her with it, she said, "Good GIRL, Storms!" So I did the only logical, Siberian thing.
You didn't REALLY think I'd bring it to her, do you? What a blast! I love playing in the yard!
Tail wags, all!
Storms
Stormy, you Mom's plants are just gorgeous. And so are you!

Stormy, you are so cute! I love the pic where you are jumping! I am so jealous of your yard!
ReplyDeleteOooooooooooo OUR Mom wants some Lily of the Valley like that, she planted some and they didn't do anything!
ReplyDeleteHey Stormy for us I don't like to play with balls or toys but Madie does and Madie brings it back all the time, she says if she doesn't bring it back they won't throw it, but she does like to sneek in a little tug time in that moment kinda a 2 fer 1 thing, "I'll bring you the toy to throw again and you tug a bit" thing...pretty smart for a fluppy!

Right on Stormy! I like to leave my cuz just barely out of reach for my mom when she sits on the floor to throw it for me. Then she has to get up. It's hilarious.
ReplyDeleteYou are very agile for 12.5. I hope I'm looking as good as you when I get to be a senior!
Steve
Stormy, you should be very poud of your sproing! We seniors all need to stick together.
ReplyDeleteLove, Dunkin
Oh Storm... you are so pawsome! I love your action shots!!! I wish your mom had gotten some videos :) Maybe next time. Your flowers... your mom's flowers... are beautiful!

Our mom loves lily-of-the-vally too! We have a few white ones and lots of pink ones! Mom is always threatening to get a Miss Kim lilac but she hasn't yet! Maybe now it the time! Yours is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Stormy,
ReplyDeleteGreat action shots. You are really strutting your stuff. The yard is gorgeous, and how fun to have it tiered. Isn't it hilarious to torment the humans with our toys? Your coat is looking mighty good too.
Playtime and mealtime. What could be better?
Journey, King of Tug
Stormy you are looking magnificent! That last picture of you is just great. We don't have much of a yard so mum and I are both very jealous of yours!

Great garden, excellent shots (as always)! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh Stormy we wish so much that we could come over and run around in that wonderful yard of yours!! Everything is growing well and the lawns look so lush. I would definately be doing my commando crawling around on those lawns. How much time does your mum spend in her garden? It is just beautiful.

Your yard is sooo pretty! The Lily of the Valley is Mom's birth month flower (may) so she loved seeing those! You sure did have fun with that toy, that is how tanner plays too!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! Yeah for seniors! ( I'm 11 myself)

Great photos of you too, Stormy! The Human Assistant says I might still be able to run that way too in a couple of years! If I keep losing extra weight....
