Zim Detection Device

Ha roo, pups! It's me - Zim. We're all pretty wiped out from our visit with our Grandma and her friend Johnnie. You know how us Sibes are - got to do the meet-n-greet, put on a show, let people give us ear rubbie-dubbies, that sort of thing. Exhausting! A short but very nice visit.

Here's a photo of me from my very first Christmas here in my furever home. Mom had just put a little brass bell ornament on the tree and decided from that point forward to call it a "Zim Detection Device". I had to check it out.

That's when Mom came up with the saying, "Every time a bell rings, a Siberian is too close to the Christmas tree." A little long, but as Amber would say, "it has a certain ring to it". Ha roo roo roo!

Play bows,
Zim

You know what is sooo great, Zimmie? Mom has lots of bell ornaments on our tree...and I grab one as a distraction and run around so that my little brother can chew stuff undetected!! Maybe you can start doing that for your sib(e)s!

Mom and I just read the saga of Amber being held hostage by those nasty reindeer - HA ROO!! We are still laughing!

I not only don't have bells, but we don't have a house tree either!

Oh great. Your Mom just gave my Mom a "brilliant idea!". She doesn't need any more of them. Darn! I can see that next year I won't be inspecting as many ornaments. ::sigh::

My mom says she's buying bells for next year. Not because of us dogs, it that darn cat! ANother reason why dogs are much better than cats.

My hu-mom got bells for my swappers!! Now she's gonna get a mal-bell for the tree too??? I don't mess with it...I just like to sniff it!! Now, Kaynh...on the other hand...thought the indoor tree needed special sibe sprinkling. The bi-peds did not agree so he is still being watched by their eagle eyes...poor guy...just trying his best.
Glad woo all had a nice Christmas!!

That's a funny saying. I'm glad things went okay with your grandma. Does she read your blog? If so, it's probably like she knew you already!

We have ornaments that make noise when we get close to the tree. Thanks for clearing up the purpose of them....I will try to move more stealthily in the future...
