Christmas Capers Advice, Part 2

Hi everypuppy! It's me! Amber! Yes ... the sweet, innocent member of the Army of Four! The "sugar wouldn't melt in my muzzle" girl. Yep, that's me. Sugar, spice, and everything nice! My turn to give a Christmas Capers lesson. My advice is... keep some cute poses on hand; they can get you out of just about anything!

Our Christmas ornaments are all stored in decorative tins, and in each tin is a paper upon which Mom has written everything that goes in there. (She's like that. And yes, for those of you who are wondering, the CDs and spices are alphabetized.) If an ornament was given by someone special, the person's name and the year are also recorded, to help Mom remember and smile when she thinks about a special friend or family member.

Here's one of the papers. Among other things, it mentions a paper window cut-out my daddy bought on REFORGER of '88. Umm... the scherenschnitte isn't in the tin anymore, though. Ummm...

Editor's note: please see words circled in yellow

Here I am, that first Christmas, posing with great-brother Booter and Stormy:

Umm... the paper cut-out thing?

My cute pose was so effective that Mom smiles every year when she reads that paper! Even though she knows I'm the pup who ate the paper thingy.

I keep a number of cute poses in my repertoire still. Just in case.

I'm a little angel!

So ... even if they do have the goods on you, as Zimmie said, keep a number of cute poses handy! Those capers will become sweet memories to your bipeds and will make them smile!

My work here is done.

  1. And, what such cute poses, Amber, they are!

  2. It's those sweet, soft eyes that will get them every time!

  3. You are just the most beautiful girl out there! How could anyone ever get upset with you with such cute poses! I'll bet you could eat the whole tree and your Mom and Dad wouldn't care :)

  4. That's good advice, Amber! But I can't be as cute as you are! I'm lucky that everything I ate isn't on a list somewhere, that's for sure!

  5. I will definately remember your advice. I'm also going to start practicing some extra cute poses.
I'm learning so much from you guys! I can't wait to hear what the other 2 have for us!

  6. oh me oh my Amber you are so darn sassy and booootiful!

Jeannie wants to know, is your Mum kinda like "Monica" from "Friends", she is very organised - just like Monica!

    I love your poses!

pee ess, we have sent you a Golden Rose, well its for your Mum really, and its all to do with Banana Ramas and making my Jeannie teary!

Check out my blog when you get a mo!

  7. pee pee ess Can my Jeannie come and train with you, she would just adore to be so Monicaorgnised.........

We can never find any darn thing in our house, let alone a written record of it!

Amber with a face that beautiful there isn't a biped on earth that could be mad at you!

  10. you dogs show the world what this season is, flags on trees, hard working dogs putting up trees, and the photos show what you intend to portray...what a gift to the world, thanks, sadiesandydukespeedingjp

  11. Amber you remind us of our Shyla. She's perky and cute just like you! I use the cuteness factor all the time. Mom says God made me extra cute for a reason. I have no idea what she means by that but I guess it's okay.

  12. Ahhhhh, we found this one extremely helpful. Even if the proof IS in the pudding, all we have to do is look cute. Easily done! We have cute down to an art form, as does everyhusky. Isn't it part of the AKC breed standard? And of course, you are the cutest!
