First, I may be a very well-behaved 12-ish year old Siberian, but I let Mom know from the day I arrived (and ate a collar with a pansy print on it) that I don't "do" outfits. Unless they're cool. The boys might, if they feel like it ... but only if they do ... and certainly Amber is a no-go.
Secondly, well... I'll let Louie and his lawyer Raymond from Overboard do our talking:
Enough said about that! Ha roo roo roo!
Tail wags,
Storm
Oh dog.
ReplyDeleteMommy did that to me. And then mailed 30 copies out to her friends from a dog forum she's on. I had to do santa hat AND reindeer ears. Not at the same time. It was utter humiliation. She said it was revenge for me waking her up at 5AM the night before when I got stuck on the heater-bench behind the ficcus tree because I was trying to see the pretty snow falling. I disapprove, but at least I got to play with my squeak-toy after that.
You're lucky you put your paw down from the get go.
Woos,
Louka
You guys are sooooo smart!! Lt them know early! That's what my problem is. I thought humoring them for awhile was the best choice.
ReplyDeleteI need your help in a BIG way! I've been accused of something and need you guys to do some detective work, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!
Kaos
oh I quite agree with your sentiments here Stormy!
ReplyDeleteLike they say in the UK, "A dog is for life and not for Christmas" so to paraphrase.......
A Dog is never for being hoooomiliated, a dog is for being a Naked Guy!
love and licks, Marvin xxxxx
I totally agree! Thank dogness Dad put his foot down on silly hats, bells, and cutesy collars for us! Mom could be easily persuaded though but Dad would come to our rescue.
ReplyDeleteECHO
I am such a sucker for treats! I do stuff for even the thought of a treat!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Storm! You are one smart doggies to JUST SAY NO to unfortunate human dressup doggie abuse...I should have laid down the law when I came to live with my peoples...oh well..I guess I get extra treats when they do that kind of nonsense....
ReplyDeleteLove & Licks,
Randi
The Human Assistant doesn't try that stuff here. He knows Gremlin eats anything he puts on her. Just isn't worth trying!
ReplyDeleteAlthough maybe ... I wonder if he'd dress up Lucy "to help her get adopted"....
Hey Stormy...
ReplyDeleteI drawn the line on collars. Everything else I run from!
Lots of Licks, Ruby
Howrroooo, we're with you pups, no stupid clothes or costumes for us. Chili's such a nudist he won't even let us wear a collar or harness in the house, if they put it on & we're not out the door within 5 minutes he's got us all stripped nekkid again.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Bama & the RHP
What about bandannas? We will allow bandannas. I've seen some reindeer antlers lying around. I've tried to chew them up, but Mom takes them away. So far she hasn't tried to put them on us. Hopefully it stays that way!
ReplyDeleteKat
I definitely think you all have the right idea - unfortunately my tummy rules my head so I endure the outfits for the treats!
ReplyDeleteRiver
Hee you doggies are smart not to wear outfits.
ReplyDelete~ Girl girl
Hi Storms, We love that cartoon strip! and agree whole heartedly about the ten treat thing! As you know mum tried to get us to cooperate with her on a Christmas card photo shoot a while back but we didn't like it one bit! We finally gave in and put up with those silly things on our head but we didn't smile!

Jazz and Dixie
Storm... way to go for putting your foot down on day one! I will do the bandanna, but nothing beyond that!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sitka
Storm,
ReplyDeleteI will only do something if it has a certain prettiness/cool thing going for it.
I will say I love my Jingle Bell Chrismtas Collar (fur fur fabric)......I strut my stuff with that on, and get very excited when I hear the jingle bells and mom places it on!
But this is the only thing I really allow and like.
Just say no to "Baboushka's"!!!!!
xoxoxo,
Frankie Grrrl
