Mail Call!

Ha roo! It's me - Storm! Guess what?!!? We got a package in the mail from Steve and Kat! WOW, what a wonderful surprise! We all stuck our noses in the envelope, then Mom let me check everything out.

WOW! A pretty package of home-made cookies made just for us and a card! The card was a great picture of Kat and Steve. Kat's leg is in Steve's mouth and Steve is saying, "Hopefully these treats will taste as good as Kat's leg." Ha roo roo roo! That made me roll over with laughter!

Oh, those puppies crack me up! Ha roo roo roo!

Their mom was kind enough to list the ingredients she used in the cookies so our mom could make sure everything would agree with our tummies! That was really nice of her! And guess what? Mom gave them the green light!

Check out the expression on my face! Yes, that is my very happy look! Ha roo! I had already read the ingredients myself and knew they were all on the "yes!" list! The boys were still waiting for Mom to check the ingredients - and to tell them they're a go!

Amber was right there, too, but Mom couldn't get all of us in the shot at one time. We were kind of swarming her. We couldn't help it - we knew those cookies were going to be great! Here's Am, savoring the fragrance!

Ooooh, these smell delicious!

Then ... we got to taste one! We thought the look on Amber's face summed everything up! Check out her pupils!

These are incredibly yummy!

THAT is one happy, excited diner!

Kat! Steve! We really loved the card and the cookies are delicious! Your mom should open up her own puppy biscuit bakery ~ seriously! We don't normally get as excited about food as we did with these cookies, but these were amazing - your mom is an incredible baker!!! We loved the special touch of writing our names and messages like "woo" and "mush" on the cookies with yogurt drops!

Thank you SO much for your thoughtfulness! Let us know if your mom's going to open up a bakery - we'd be happy to be on the official taste-tester team!

Tail wags from all of us!

PS: I'm delighted so many of you want to join the Ao4! I'll post all the details next week. In the meantime, here are the answers to some of your questions:
K & Kali: Following orders? Please. If that was a requirement, a certain someone wouldn't already be a member. Ha roo roo roo. You're with us, aren't you?
Peanut: I've tasked the boys to find us a tank. I gave them Monday as a deadline, so we'll see.
China & Madie: I'll post more info soon, but basically it means we all cover each other's six, stick together in case of trouble, be supportive, and teach each other cool stuff. Are you in?
Everypup else: We accept all willing volunteers!

  1. Oh, we are so glad you liked your treats! That's a funny picture of you with the card.

Stormy, your face in the picture with Zim and Dave is PRICELESS!!!! I loved my cookies that Steve and Kat sent to me as well. They are very yummy! Amber, the picture of you taking your cookie is a great one as well.

    Hugs, Sitka

P.S. Zim and Dave.. you both looked very handsome in the picture with Stormy :)

  4. Mmmm! Homemade treats are the best! That was so nice of Steve and Kat to share with you.

  5. Sure we're in!!!

    China & Madie

  6. Oh my goodness, they were SO yummy weren't they? We mobbed mom too, so she couldn't get a pic of us doing that. She had a hard enough time getting pics one of us at a time! We were very anxious for our yummies! We would definitely buy from Steve and Kat's mom if she went into business, that's for sure!!

  7. Oh I want some cookies. I hope the boys get the tank. Looking forward to the details.

  8. Hi Guys,
From the look on your beautiful faces those cookies were very yummy. We could almost taste them all the way over here!! Do you have room in the Army for two beagles? We may be smaller than some but we have very good noses that may come in handy!
    Jazz and Dixie

  9. Wow, you guys love those treats!

  10. Those pictures are great, I bet those cookies tasted great. Maybe we can get Steve and Kats Mom to post the directions so our Mom's can make us some.

  12. Steve & Kat: The treats were incredible! And the card just cracked me up! Thank roo again!!!
Is your mom going to open up a bakery?

Marvin: The cookies were incredible. We don't normally go so crazy over treats - Steve & Kat's mom is amazing!
Happy birthday to the "certain person". Ha roo roo roo!

Sitka: Thank roo. My mom loves that picture and made it our desktop picture for the weekend! I wish all 4 of us were in the picture!
