Sunday Salute - HTHNBR!

This week's Sunday Salute goes out to our friends at the Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue! They work really hard with their bipeds to help Northern Breed dogs find forever homes - they foster them in their own homes, educate bipeds about how to care for them, get them the medical help they need ... and help raise money to off-set those costs!

You probably know some of the members of HTHNBR already! There's the ever-handsome Indy, who (among other things) writes their newsletter!

Oh, sure, his mom claims to write it. But we all know who the real author is!

And there's also the wonderfully fluffy Meeshka!

Help homeless pups, or I'll claw you!

They both work hard to help out homeless puppers! We heard through the Siberian Grapevine about a beautiful carousel HTHNBR is selling as a fund-raiser; one look at it and we knew we had to have it! Little carved sled dogs and a musher going 'round and 'round! And all the proceeds go to helping puppies! How delightful! We sent Mom a mind-meld message about it and she sent off a check right away!

It came in the mail this past week, and even though it's now safely ensconced in the middle of the dining room table, Mom let Dave check it out. He even figured out how to make the sled dogs run!
