Ha roo, everypup! Zim here with some great news to start the post!
Mom just got an email from our friend Nikki's mom - you know, our Siberian pal who's moving from South Africa to Northern Cyprus! The good news is that Nikki's mom and dad and Nikki have all arrived in NC! Nikki's mom said, in part, "Nikki arrived at the airport here screaming the Siberian death scream - just about cleared the airport!" That sounds normal and healthy to us! Ha roo roo roo! "We got her to the quarantine station and got to bed at 2 in the morning. I have been very concerned about her but today she seems a bit better. ..... She has eaten her pillows, her lead, her collar, her food and water bowls and has a broken tooth. :( Will see how she is tomorrow." Sounds like a first-class Siberian temper-tantrum ... again, normal, though we're REALLY sorry to hear about the tooth. Dave can relate! Her mom is considering seeing a vet about sedatives or a slight tranquilizer to help see her through - but is really hoping she'll settle down now that she's landed. Quarantine will be 2-4 weeks; please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!
In other news, I went over to see what Mom was having for breakfast the other morning. Yogurt! I love yogurt! I gave her my best sad eyes look and she caved.
Play bows,
Zim
Ha ha ha, your snooter definitely is cute though!!!
ReplyDeleteThat would have been horrible if your nose really was stuck! Sometimes I get stuff stuck on my nametag, but it would be way worse on my nose!
ReplyDeleteTonight or tomorrow we'll post more details about our upcoming move and what happened to the plans to move to Maryland. But we really hope that we see some snow!
Kat
Mango Pomegranate!!!! Boy, does that ever sound yummy! Dad lets us lick out of the container too but mom likes the spoon better so our beards don't get all yucky!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Oh you are too funny with your snooter. Your yogurt sounds yummy. We only get strawbery bannana. But that's okay.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear about Nikki getting there safe. But she has to be in quarantine for 2 weeks? Poor thing. Will her mom get to see her every day? Oh I know I could not do this. I hope she's okay and she gets to go home soo.
Husky Hugs, MayaMarie
OOOooo Papa let me have the empty Butter Pecan icecream container when Mom was finished...oh that was so yummy I wanted to eat the carton too! But he wouldn't let me have his Rocky Road one...bummer, something about chocolate...

Oh and so pleased to hear the good news about Nikki, tho the Siberian Death Scream sounds alarming!
love and licks, Marvin xxxxx
Poor Nikki. That's a very long journey. We'll send Sibe Vibes to help her through the rest of her adventure.
ReplyDeleteGetting snooters stuck is not good! But in that case it would have been tolerable....for awhile at least.

Harrrr Zim
ReplyDeleteYou got your nose stuck just like a pirate Harrrrr
Cap'n Mavercik the Pirate

But they are SUCH pushovers for Sibe Eyes
Good thing your hu-mom eats yogurt from khups like that - yoplaits khontainers would get stuck on yer snooter!
Wuv and Yum,
Khyra
Glad to hear Nikki made it there and sibe vibes sent for her to make it though these rough couple of weeks. That picture of you and your snooter reminds of a picture mom took of me a really long time ago with my snooter stuck in an icing container....Pillsbury...yum!
ReplyDeleteWoo woo, Kelsey Ann
We are sending lots of calming thoughts to Nikki, I can't imagine being in quarantine!
ReplyDeleteI'd get my snooter stuck in a container for yogurt, except I don't really have a snooter!
Hi Zim,
ReplyDeletePoor Nikki! She may have had a first class tantrum but it doesn't sound like she flew first class!
Mango Pomegranate!!! Mum is drooling on the key board. She is a mango addict as are we and she has been eating fresh pomegranates recently as they are in season. She wasn't sure wether she could give them to us so we didn't get to try them. Was it good?

JJ: Thank roo!
ReplyDeleteKat: These containers are pretty wide; I don't think I could get my snooter stuck! And Mom was right there!
Maggie & Mitch: Isn't it great? I sometimes lick the spoon, as do the girls. Dave is a little messy with it, though.
Maya Marie: Oooh, I like strawberry-banana, too!
We're not sure about the visitation; Mom asked buy hasn't heard back from Nikki's mom yet. Our great brother Booter and great sister Lucky had a 10 day quarantine in Korea and Mom pretty much camped out there with them all day. I'm sure that made them feel better!
China: We have the "no chocolate" rule here, too! No fair!
Marvin: HA rooo! Great poem - how cool! Thank roo for writing it for me - I feel very special!
Yeah ... for those unfamiliar with the Siberian Death Scream ... it's REALLY loud, REALLY awful, and according to Mom can shatter glass. Needless to say, it'll get your attention.
Echo: We'll keep you posted!
Maverick: Harrr! It was worth it to get the booty! HArrrr!
Khyra: My mom is putty in my paws! She won't get yoplait just because we can't share! Ha roo roo roo!
Kelsey Ann: Mmm, icing! I've never licked an icing container! That sounds wonderful - worth getting your snooter stuck in!
Joe: Ha roo! You have a snooter -- it's just kind of smooshy! Amber thinks it's cute!
Jazz & Dixie: Not first class, for SURE!
The yogurt was incredible - though I only got to lick the container. Not much there ... but I was willing to give it a go anyway. Aren't mangoes YUMMY!?!? I've never had a pomegranate - just the little taste of it in the yogurt!
Thanks everypup for the good thoughts for Nikki!!!
Play bows,
Zim
Oh my dogness... look at my handsome Zimmie's CUTE snooter! I am sorry that you got it stuck, but there could be worse places to get it stuck. At least you picked something yummy.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS for giving us an update on Nikki and her fam. I am sorry to hear that she has chipped a tooth, but I hope she will be ok. Keep us posted, especially on her cat sibiling.
Hugs,
Sitka

ReplyDeleteA-wooos, Zim!
ReplyDeleteYou do look cute with that thng stuck on your snooters - and the alarmed look on your face really shows off your beautiful eyes! If I was offered a mango pomegranate yogurt, I'd get my snooters stuck too! I'm come very close to gettting stuck in a vanilla yogurt cup a couple times!
We'll keep paws crossed Nikki gets sprung from quarentine soon - hey, maybe a few nights straight of the siberian death howl will convince the authorities they really DON'T want her there anymore!
Wooos & a-rooos,
Star and the Jack a-roo
Oh dear Zim, I hope your snooter gets unstuck soon. There's more yummy treats waiting for you~
ReplyDelete~ Girl girl
