Hey pups! It's me, Stormy! Have you all been on pins and needles waiting to read the rest of the story? Ha roo. I think you'll find it worth the wait.
Before I get to that, let me respond to an insightful question our dear friend (and super model) Chelsea posed yesterday in the "comments" section! It ties in - so please bear with me! She wanted to know, "Stormy, Do your brothers know you are dishing their secrets???" Ha roo roo roo! You're very sweet to ask about that! I wouldn't put anything on our blog that would upset any of my pack-mates; we all like to have fun with each other and the very last thing I'd want to do is publish something everysibe wasn't OK with! I think you all know how I feel about all of my puppies, don't you? Zim is just SUPER fun and is a great student at my School of Siberian Studies. He gets along with EVERYpup he meets and is very charismatic. A bit on the silly and mischievous side, but we love that about him! Amber is the sweetest thing on the face of the earth - honestly. She goes out of her way to do nice things for all of us and always watches over us. She is a master communicator and is excellent at keeping the peace in the pack! She is all things good and true. She's also a great meteorologist and tells funny jokes. And Dave .... though not one of my puppies ... he's just such a lovable lug! I can't understand it; I am the alpha and he doesn't listen to me! But I love him. ??? You'd have to meet him in dog to know. What I'm saying is ... yes, they all know I'm dishing on them - and they think the stories are as funny as I do! Ha roo roo roo!
Back to our story now. Where was I yesterday? Oh, yes. I left you with Mom holding the bag..... so to roo. She and Dad thought that perhaps Zim's newly-given freedoms needed to be cut back a little and that was that. That was ... until our evening walk that day. Mom reached down to scoop up somepuppy other than Zim's poop ... and ... and ... and we heard, "WHAT'S THIS?" Oh, yes. Pieces of the aforementioned ruby red slipper's insole. Large and apparently easily recognizable. So the perpetrator of the crime had a partner. Teamwork. It's one of the many admirable traits of the Siberian Husky! Don't you think?
Mom offered a quick apology to Zim for pointing the sole (pardon the pun) paw at him. And who do you think worked with Zim in the great Ruby Red Slipper Caper?
"...little bit o' sole, yeah, little bit o' sole... hee hee hee"
It was my sweet little girl puppy! You know, the sweet and innocent never-do-anything-wrong, sugar-wouldn't-melt-in-her-mouth Ammy girl!!??!! Ha roo roo roo! Good one, Amber! And now you know ... the rest of the story!
Tail wags,
Storms
PS: Who was it who did that "I'm A 'Sole' Man"? Am and Dav... oh, no... he wasn't here yet. Ha roo roo roo! Ha roo roo roo!
Maybe Amber thought she could get away with it since she looks so much like Zim.

Ammy!
ReplyDeleteNo way? Sweet Sweet Amber would never do such a thing.
But then again, proof was in the pudding? Arrrrrrrrroooo
Ok Dave for sure IS A LAB, cuz Maddie doesn't listen to ANYBODY! Say hi to my ever loven Sibe-Lab Dave Dave. Wooooo Dave. smoochies

Frankie Girl
Ok Kat.. great answer/explaniation!
ReplyDeleteI once chewed off the heel of one of mom's favorite shoes. Boy did I get in trouble. I got the finger pointed at me and the stern mom look. Fortunatly for her and me, the shoe man was able to shorten the heels on the shoes and repair the damage. I didn't do that again!
hugs, Sitka
I am enjoying your instalments Stormy! Very funny ending there! Who would have thought it of Ammy!
ReplyDeleteWe have a very slow slow slow computer tonight, this is why we are late commenting, we are going to bed now!
See you tomorow, love and tired licks, Marvin xxxxxxx
Quite silly, Stormy!
ReplyDeleteI believe that Handsome Hamish is still the primary Culprit in Similar Doings. Alas, he looks not so innocent as Miss Amber. And he does not hide the Evidence! Such rascals, these Young Pups!
Tansy
It;s so hard to believe that sweet Amber would do anything like that, Great story though,
ReplyDeletePuppy Kisses, Sooky
Hehe, I love your blog, guys! I wish I had a sister or a brother! I live alone with my family.....keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteAw... So Amber got shiny insides too?
ReplyDelete~ fufu
That was a funny story and good to keep us in suspense over two posts! Same kinda thing happened when Dixie ate a whole pencil a little while back but it wasn't as sparkly as Zim and Amber's!!!!

Jazz
Kat: Ha roo roo roo! They DO try to fool Mom with little "twins" things sometimes!
ReplyDeleteFrankie: I couldn't believe it myself! Isn't that funny!?!?!?
The "proof is in the pudding"? Oh, Rooooooooooo! You're funny, Franks!!!
Dave IS a Lab. One of these days I'm going to find the zipper on his Sibe suit! And he sends you "luv" and "woooo" back to you!!
Sitka: There was no repairing that ruby red slipper after those two got it! The picture I posted of Amber was a recreation using the other shoe!
Marvin: Had she not swallowed the evidence, she would have been 100% innocent! But there was no denying it!
Dear Tansy: The wee little redheads are a handful at times, aren't they? But such a delight! Zim and maybe Hamish? need to take "looking innocent" lessons from Amber. She ALWAYS has a sweet look on her face!
Sooky: It IS hard to believe it was Amber - that's why it's so funny!!! :)
Abby: Nice to meet you! Come visit our blog any time!!!
Fu Fu: Hers weren't quite as uh... colorful as Zim's - she ate the spongy insole thing. Sort of beige in color.
Jazz & Dixie: Dixie, you ate a pencil!!? Ha roo, the things you youngsters get into! Glad you liked our story!!
