I know some of you have been anxious to get going. I had to finalize all the plans before I put this in motion. Mom started shooting a video of me a couple days ago, asking me about it. Now... even though I speak human, I decided if I answer her in human, that's not great OPSEC. We really don't want the bipeds to know what we're all about! I would have roo-ed or woo-ed the mission statement to her, but I realize many of the Troopers in the Ao4 are not Siberians and might not understand our language. I decided to go with the universal canine language, Bark. Most Sibes, though they may not speak Bark themselves, can understand it. For those of you Sibe Troopers who may not, Dave is in the background translating. Tia, I would have summed it up in Cat-Speak for you (I also speak Cat!), but your sister Sitka can translate for you. Girl Girl, hopefully you understand Bark (or Dave woo-ing, since I know you're working on your Siberian language skills!) or you can put it through the Babel Fish Translator or something. So... here it is:
I think you all understand, don't you? Yes, I was a bit hesitant to speak Bark in front of my mom; I was afraid she might understand. I don't think she did, or else she would have reacted differently. Besides, with that whole "no opposable thumbs" issue, none of us Sibes can work the video aspect of the camera.
Troopers - to your posts! You know what to do!
Tail wags,
Storm
PS: We still haven't heard from some of you on the Trooper list about getting the cool code for your side-bar! Please be sure to email us so you can be linked up with everypup! Also ... Stella, Joe Stain's friend? We can't find you! Are you still out there?
WOOHOO! Our first mission! I'm on it!!

Reporting for duty! love and troopery licks, Marvin xxxxxxx
(oooops, I don't think Troopers are supposed to write kisses to each other, are they?)
I'll get right on it, Stormy!! I've been practicing Bark lately, but I'm glad Dave was there for backup, just so I could be extra clear.

I just received this very important email from Troopers K and Kali in Mexico City:
ReplyDeletedear supreme commander stormy (stop)
we understood the assignment however you didn't give us a date as to when it needs to be completed (stop)
k and kali are awaiting more instructions (stop)
I clarified this for them with the following reply: Rooooooooooooooo! Roo!
In case anypup else didn't catch the time line, this should clear things up. Great question, Troopers!!!
Tail wags,
Storm
We totally understand your orders. We are going to Missouri this weekend to see our grandparents and that should allow us the perfect opportunity to carry out this top secret mission!
ReplyDeleteSteve and Kat

I'm on it! I'll report back when my mission is complete.

Sooky
Woo WOo Stormy... I will be out and about to day, so I can carry through with my part of the mission. When I woke up this morning, Tia was about to complete her part. I guess she speaks more dog/siberian that I thought. Tia asked me to tell you she is complete and will await further instructions if they are so needed.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sitka
Hoooooooah!!!!!!!

Troopers: I'm so glad everypup heard the mission statement. K and Kali - thanks for pointing out that I needed to clarify the time line. I appreciate your attention to detail!
ReplyDeleteMarvin: I am multi-lingual. Yes, I can "meow" with the best of them. Mom's trying to get it on video.
Ivy: It's dangerous, yes, but necessary! I have every confidence in this group of Troopers - we will succeed! Safely!
Dave did do a good job translating. I must tip my hat to him. Glad he cleared things up for some of you. He's a mighty good guy to have at your sibe. Um... I mean side.
Good luck, Troops! Report back in when you can!
Tail wags,
Storm
Very thoughtful of you to speak the more widely known langauge of bark! Dave is an excellent translator too!
ReplyDeleteI'll get started first thing in the morning!
I'm on it Stormy!
ReplyDeleteIndy: You know, I don't normally speak Bark, but I thought like you said, it would be more universally understood. Mom was VERY surprised when she heard me bark out the orders!
ReplyDeleteBruin: Excellent!
TW,
Storms
