Weather Control Device is WORKING!

Hi everypuppy! It's me - Amber! Our weather took SUCH a lovely turn on Wednesday! A cold front came through and we had snow flurries ALL day long and it was really, really windy and wonderful out there!

Here is a picture of Dad running me and Davy down the street! (Dave is my temporary running partner, until Zim feels all better.) Can you see the snow? Maybe you can see a little on our neighbors' roofs! It was coming down like CRAZY!

Isn't it wonderful? We only got a dusting, but it was still nicer than the almost 80-degree temps from the day before!

Right now, it's 15 degrees Fahrenheit (about -9 C) and even though it's sunny, there is more snow heading our way! Our temperature is colder than Siberia's! Ha roooooooo! I really think our Weather Control Device is working! Before long, our walks and runs will look like this:

February 2005, The Ao4 in action - L to R - Me (Amber), Dave, Storm and Zim

Sigh. Now doesn't that look wonderful!?!? I can't WAIT!

Love and snowy wishes,
Amber

  3. Our first snow of the year didn't last long, but we hope yours will stay longer! It's so much fun running around in the snow ... and it must be even more fun for you guys, like chasing a rabbit is for a beagle.

  5. Hope all of you had a good Turkey Day. It was 29 degrees when we woke up today. We wuv it, mommy isn't a fan of the cold though. The cars outside had a dusting of snow & so did the grass around our side run. I'm glad that Zim is on the mend. He'll be cold until his tummy hair grows back.

  8. Hi Xsara! The weather people here are saying we're going to have a severe winter this year. I hope they're RIGHT! Mom and Dad don't seem to share my dreams ...

Maggie & Mitch: We only got a dusting THIS time, but our paws are crossed for more SOON!

Cosi: We just LOVE the snow! I hope we get lots more tonight! :)

Cubby: Send it to us! :) Maybe we could send you some Sibe fluff to help you stay warm!

Tucker: I hope we get it! We're watching the Nebraska-Colorado football game and see snow there. Is that your snow? It looks bee-roo-tiful!

    Love,
    Amber

  10. We're having similar weather. I can't wait to get inches of snow so I can shove my nose in it. I LOVE doing that!! Especially when Dad has a warm fire going inside the house and Mom is sitting my it. I come in and put my cold nose on a warm spot on her face and listen to Mom squeal! I LOVE snow, too! I don't have nice coats like you all do so I don't get to stay out in it for very long.

  17. Oh man, snow!!! Send some of it our way. We haven't had a really decent snowfall in almost 4 years! My housemates (except Josie) don't really care for snow but I'm half Swedish and I love it! I run around like a maniac in it so you can only see my face coming out of a spray of snow! woooohoooooooooooo

    Love,

  19. We can tell you are husky! We are glad you are getting cold weather but we had one little request and that was KEEP IT UP THERE! It is 44 degrees and raining here and we are miserable. If you aren't going to keep the cold up there, at least send us some fur!

  20. Joe: We get VERY excited and happy about SNOW! We're Siberians. It's what we do. :)

Kaos: Great to see you! We hope you get tons of snow! And opportunities to goose your mom! Hee hee hee!

China & Madie: If we get lots of snow, maybe we can mail you some!

Marvin: You get to go on a train!? Is it scary?

Ruby: Thank roo! I think we will!

Echo: You would really have sent us some!?!? You are SUCH a sweet puppy!

Kat: Oh WOW! Did you get to stop and play in it!?!?!

Sherman! YES! That's what I say, too! Bring on the blizzard!!!

Rudy: Snow would be like a camouflage for you!

Jazz & Dixie: It was very warm and mild here, too, up until the cold front came barrelling through! 80s one day; 20s the next! That's what Kansas is like!

Roxie, Sammy & Andy: I heard about how COLD Texas is when we were watching football on Friday! Maybe you puppies should put a Weather Control Device in your sidebar and have it set to somewhere like Bermuda! :)

    Love,
    Amber

  21. Ao4, Mom came home complaining about the cold. She was at that game. But she said the weather didn't bother her as much as some people who were wearing burnt orange.

  22. i can't believe your weather control device is working! I hate the cold...my legs are so short, the cold grass rubs my belly and I hate that...so I think I'll put Bermuda's above mine (PA) and see if it wards off the cold...

    xoxo,
    Ricky
