Here we are, approaching the KSO:
"You weren't just kidding about low tide, Zim!" "Yeah... the drought's really hurting tourism." |
He hadn't seen the building under construction on the eastern shore. I told him I was pretty sure it was going to be a sea-side casino.
"I think it's going to be one of those casino things, Dave!" |
Dave said he didn't think so ... and that he wouldn't bet on it if he was me.
"Ha woo. 'Don't bet on it!' Get it, Zim?!!?" |
"Ha roo roo roo!" |
Can you see in the photo above how happy I was to have Davy by my side?!? He makes everything more fun!
We had a great stroll along the boardwalk ...
... just enjoying each other's company and ignoring Mom's requests to sit and pose for a photo!
"Make her work for it, Dave!" |
Every time she jumped out in front of us, we'd either look away or walk right into her. It was great!
We also did the ol' "You-look-one-way-I'll-look-the-other-way" maneuver:
"Dave! I'll go left, you go right! Ready? Go!" |
It's a classic Siberian photo-avoidance technique, and Mom was EVER so complimentary about our skills!
It was so much more fun with Dave there! We're glad you could join us at the Kansas Ocean, too! Thanks for coming along!
Play bows,
Zim
"Is she still holding the iPhone, Zim?" "I think so. She's almost as stubborn as we are. Hang on... she'll give up and stick it in her pocket soon!" |

Hey, I was out all last week and didn't read blogs. Did I miss any Manhattan cool sites posts? I would def want to see those.

It looked like such a nice day for a stroll along the ocean. You boys sure give your mom a hard time when she just wants to take a picture of your beautiful faces.
