Ha roo, pups and cool cats, it's me, Zim! So there I was last night ... something smelled incredible in the kitchen. I'm not normally a chow hound, but I found the smell irresistible. I waited until I thought I could make a move. It came right as Dad got up to get something, oddly enough ...
|
"Up, periscope!" |
and then ...
|
"Preparing to scan the AO..." |
I gave the area a quick scan. The smell was so strong, it was intoxicating! I knew I needed to make a move sooner rather than laterrrr ...
|
"Oh. Hi, Mom." |
Hmm. The target was too well guarded.
In
TOTALLY unrelated news, check out what was over on Mom's placemat:
|
Comfort food: meatloaf, mac 'n' cheese, green salad |
Yeah.
|
"Oh. Hi, Dad. I was ... err ... just ... uhh ... can I pull your chair out for you?" |
And no, of course I didn't get any. But I did get an extra piece of
Stinky Goodness after I had my dinner!
Not even a sampling ohmypug!!! Well I am sending Dad on over to your place..dontyaworry!

Bawhhahahha. "Up periscope." You are so nice to help your dad with his chair. I hope they realize what a super guy they have in you. Next time I suggest while you are scanning the area and all eyes are on you, Dave attack from the rear (in stealth mode of course).
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
After all that careful work I'm glad you got some extra stinky goodness. Obviously you earned it!
ReplyDeleteThat meatloaf looks really delicious.
PS. Mrs. Master laughed and laughed at this post. Especially, "Oh, Hi Mom."
Of course, I have no idea why as I never scope out human food.
Nora
table shark - try that around here and face the paw of Bourb MOL
ReplyDeleteLove the "who me?" look.....
BOL Zim up periscope had us in stitches. Well funny pal but i would have pounced on the yum yums. Have a terrific Thursday and see you tomorrow.
ReplyDeletebest wishes Molly
MOL! Zim, you're silly! It was very kind of you to help your dad with his chair and we're glad you got an extra piece of Stinky Goodness for your thoughtfulness!
ReplyDeleteHahaha...love it!
ReplyDeleteBOL! Zim, buddy, you've GOT to learn to work with Dave! Get him to attract the attention and then sneak up from behind. That's how Cinderella and I manage things. Or, um, would if we did that sort of thing. Hi, Momma.
ReplyDeleteOh the leave mom at the table to watch trick. You were so close, we were sure you were gonna have it. umm we can almost smell it from here. Glad you got an extra stinky goodness treat though.
ReplyDeleteThe silvers and more
Oh Zim....BOL. mom is humming the Jaws song
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
So close.... and yet so far.
ReplyDeletePerhaps another day, eh?
Jack & Moo, who can so-relate!
I thought I heard the theme music from Jaws while looking at those first two pictures... da dum, da dum da dum...
ReplyDeleteCindy
You have us and our mom drooling, Zim! Meatloaf and mac-n-cheese! yummmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
I thought sure you were going to be the taste tester-just to make sure the food was safe. I actually cooked up some organic ground beef today(from the cow we raised)to add to Hunter's food to see if I could get him to eat-you know how picky he can be. He ate it quickly but left his favorite canned food in the bowl-what gives with that?! I have enough ground beef to give him a couple of spoonfuls a day. Glad you didn't get busted at the table.
ReplyDeleteWoof, Noreen & Hunter
All I could hear in was the theme to Jaws....ha ha! Great post!
ReplyDeletemol! we had the Jaws music going as we watched you make your move, Zim! you're too polite, we would've just been on the table, mol! we're glad you got some reward for your efforts :)
