They went into the bedroom; Zim and I followed so we could be as helpful as possible. Mom and Dad took everything off the bed - even the bedskirt! - and stacked all the puppy-beds (henceforth known as P-Bs) in one corner to make more room. As many of you know, I'm not big into changes at ALL, but up to that point ...
"Hmmm..." |
... I kinda liked the changes they were making!
"Getting kinda sleepy..." |
Dad said I looked like that Princess and the Pea babe, only I was the Prince and the P-Bs. Ha woo. Funny, Dad!
Before terribly long, Mom and Dad decided Zim was helping too much, so they excused him from the room and put the kiddie gate up so he wouldn't feel compelled to come into the room to work.
" 'The Prince and the P-Bs'... I wonder if that's a good thing?" |
Dad left to go to his office after he did all the heavy stuff, then Mom wasn't looking, I decided to get up and knock the gate out of the doorway (I'm really good at doing that!) so Zim could come back in and help. Besides, I wanted to run that whole "Prince and the P-Bs" thing by him.
I asked him what he thought about it once he settled in to work.
"I wouldn't worry about it, Dave. Really..." |
He's so right. Besides, there's nothing wrong with us rough and tumble type of guys enjoying a little bit of luxury! Who's with me on that one?
awwww:) what a wonderful day of relaxation... I'm considering the remodeling thing now myself...:)
ReplyDeletewho knew that it could be soo fun for us?? have a great day;) Charlie in Texas...
oh wow! You guys have it made...Zim with all those pillows to himself and you with all the puppy beds. I sure hope they leave the room like that always!

You boys sure look comfy napping on all those cushions.

Love it. Pippinpumpkin sleeps in her chilli basket most of the time but I am a bed gal. I have a throw of my own but have been known to sleep everywhere else. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Hi Dave, err Prince Davy. I love your nice comfy looking bed-how very sweet of you pawents arranging it that way for you. Wonder what your mom was doing anyway; she must share.
ReplyDeleteHunter had a great walk today and seems good. He must have seen the thermometer I got at the drug store and didn't want me to use it on him.
Thank you for your kind thoughts! Paws and enjoy your day!

awwww - but if they leave the P-Bs like that, where is Zim gonna sleep? must be they need to buy more beds....yep, that's it!!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely look like royalty, Your Highness! (Plus Cinderella is a princess, so now you're the same rank. :))
ReplyDeleteWe agree. A little comfy cozy time is worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Those stacked beds sure do look comfy!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
You certainly are a Prince because you lead a life of royalty!
ReplyDeleteHarwooowooo! BOL! MOL! You are such a ham Dave! Paw pats, Savvy
ReplyDeletePrince Davy, there might be a frozen pea (wrapped in stinky goodness) at the bottom of you pile of P-B's :D you've got the cuteness factor going in spades...we bet that will secure your new bed arrangement for a little while at least! (or else just never move...)
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
I support you 100%. WE should not be denied the comfort such as that.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see that you helped so much. They tried one of those kiddie gates when I was a pup - it only took a moment to knock it out of my way!
ReplyDeleteI think it was a good MOVE!!! :)
ReplyDeletePrince and the P-B's that's great. Way to go Dave for knocking the gate down, that's team work at it's best.
ReplyDeleteThe silvers and more
Oh my goodness, you both are sooooo cute!!!!!! Did they leave the tower of P-Bs for you?
