OK, OK, so it's a bad poem; Dave's the poet, not me. Anypuppy else missing Marvin? Hope his computer problems get sorted out soon!
Along with some other cool places to hang out, Dad's study and Mom's quilting studio are on the lower level of the house. When Mom opens the door to go down there, we just can't WAIT to get to work! Sometimes I help her; sometimes I hang out in the study with Dad. Anyroo... Mom shot this video of us all reporting in like we always do. We thought we'd share it with you.
Notice how Amber always waits for everypuppy else. She's very thoughtful and shepherd-like in that respect.
In other video news... if Bowie of the C(un)IA is out there reading, we wanted to let you know what will happen to you if you push us Sibes too far. Please check out the video of our friend Indy found at this link. See that box, Bowie? You don't want that box to be you! (Neither do Zim and I... but don't push it!)

ReplyDeleteYou guys are all so cute! Amber, I like how you didn't listen right away and waited until you were good and ready to come - us red and whites are good at that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to my video!
Lovely pups! You are all so orderly. Our flock has been remanded to "boot camp" this week for going outside. Those unruly young boys want to push their way through first, not respecting the elder girls. I do admire Amber, waiting to see everyone properly downstairs. She has a certain elegance.

ReplyDeleteYou guys are the best. I wish I had a pack like yours instead of my whiny annoying brother. If you took a similar video in our house, it would show Lares falling down the stairs.
Later,
Althea
LOVE THE ROLL CALL! And great idea warning the stupid cats with Indy's cool box video! Any chance your humans could be restationed in Illinois, haroooo, we pups can hope you know!

Sgt. Preston, working with Juarez caught a spy here just today.
ReplyDeleteAmber is very thoughtful to wait for her siblings.
ReplyDeleteZim reminded Mama of a little boy she knows who always coming tearing down the stairs!

Woh Amber is such a great leader to wait for everyone to get down first.

And it only took Dave Dave some steps and a turn to arrive with a DINO bone in mouth! All of you are adorable!

Indy: Roooooo! That's right - I don't ALWAYS do what I'm asked! Usually... but not always! :)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Amber
Hi Tansy! Thank roo. I work very hard training the pack. I always go first and get fed first and get a cookie first - I'm the ALPHA GIRL! Everypuppy's real good about respecting that. Amber IS a bit elegant, isn't she? Our great brother Booter ('87-01) was a Lab/Aussie Shepherd mix. He taught Am a lot about herding. It's a wonderful tribute to him that she still does it!
ReplyDeleteAlthea: Amber wishes you'd cut Lares some slack. She thinks he's cute! (eye roll)
M & M: Indy's video is GREAT, isn't it? We appreciate him letting us use the link! Oh... and I think we're in KS for the long haul.
D'Azuls: WHOA! That's incredible! Who knew the chickens were in cahoots with the C(un)IA?!!?
Chelsea: Amber is very mannerly. I've had her since she was about 4 months old; Booter and I did a lot of her training. And Zim ... yeah, he's SILLY! And fun. :) He's still living the puppy-hood he missed out on.
Fu Fu: I'm the leader -- but Amber is my second-in-command!
Frankie: Um... you know those pix of your sister Maddie the LAB walking around the pool carrying her dinosaur bone? When Dave gets excited, he ALWAYS has to "bring something to the party", as the bipeds say. Go downstairs? Get a dino bone. Someone at the door? Take them a dino bone. Mom sits on the floor? Take her a dino bone. Is this how Maddie is? Is this a Lab thing? He IS mighty nice, though. He's touched that you knew it was him!

My sister always takes gifts to people when she is excited too. If she doesnt' have anything, she'll take something from the people and then give THAT to them. She is a Newfoundland, which is near Labrador. Maybe it is a Canadian thing.

Magnum: Hmm... maybe Dave's a Newfie in a Sibe suit! Ha roo roo roo!

ReplyDeleteOne sentence:
Dave Dave is a Lab.
Yes, Maddie must bring something to the party at ALL times.
We so enjoy having hard scratchy Nylabones "brought" to our faces, legs arms, backs or whatever the site she chooses to show us that once again, she has "Found" the prize of the moment.
She trys to bring prizes to bed at night when we all retire, but thats where Mom and Dad draw the toy party line.
Luv, Frankie........ Check the Dave Dave suit.......it will reveal all ;-)
Frankie: Next time Mom brushes him (which he LIKES!), I'm going to sit close and look for the zipper. Bet I can open it using my teeth!
ReplyDeleteDave sounds exactly like Maddie! Oh... and to clarify - I LOVE Labrapuppies of all shapes, sizes and ages. I just don't think one ought to be parading around in a Sibe suit! Ha roo roo roo!

my mom liked this video so much she was thinking about two more boston terriers.
ReplyDeleteWHAT IN THE?!
Love the video!

Joey: Two MORE!?!? Wow. Sounds cool to me, but based on how you feel about the Doof... uh, I mean Tanner, I'm not sure that's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteTierre: Thanks! We make quite the entrance, don't we?
