Fall Colors

Tail wags, everypup! It's me, Stormy!
Our friends Butchy and Snickers posted some pix of the lovely Fall colors in their yard the other day on their blog. They have a lovely Burning Bush in their yard and we thought they'd like to see ours! That's it on the left, back by the house! Isn't it nice? More red in front with the Crimson Barberry Bushes ... and our nice Japanese Maple behind us. Cool, huh?
Speaking of red..... that's me sporting my red leash next to Dad; Zim is standing next to me, awaiting my orders. Dave and Ammy are behind him.
Thanks for all your nice comments lately; especially the ones about our friend Lukkie! We always try to make a comment back - so if you leave one, check back! We try to respond to every comment, so you know we appreciate it, and we're reading, and well... Zim said it's like marking over your mark...... but no, not really. Well, maybe.
We'll also try to add new videos to Ao4-TV soon. Mom is working on trying to get me to say more Human-speak on camera, but I haven't really felt like saying anything while she's recording yet. Except for the "no" remark I made in response to her question about whether or not I liked my bath. Puh-lease!
Guess that's it for today, except to encourage you to check out our side-bar links. Our cool friends have great blogs, plus more friends on Dogs With Blogs (DWB), and my FAVORITE link, our heroes. That site is updated weekly, so please click it to read about some great Americans. We also congratulate our friend Fargo on being selected as the featured Husky blogger of the month! Way to go, Fargo! Am is hoping we'll be treated to some of your great jokes!
Have a great day, everypup!
Tail wags,
Stormy

    Hey Pals,
Nice bush colors! We like Japanese Maples too but Mama can't seem to get one to survive the winters here in Iowa. Need to be more in the southern half of Iowa to get them to grow we guess. We also have some Barberry bushes, some by the house & garage and a few by our ponds. By the way, we're in shock today, it warmed up to 70 degrees and one of Mama's koi fish was even up and swimming around in the pond. Have a great doggie day!!

We really like your pretty bushes! None of our bushes are that nice. They're just boring green.

    Later!

  5. We have a burning bush in the backyard, but my sister uses it as a practice bush for teaching Ananya's School of the Topiary Arts. I think she has overdone it so that it is not much to look at anymore.

  9. M&M: Glad you checked out the HEROES page. We don't hear enough about these guys!
Holly: I really thought we'd be able to get things nice and frosty here with that weather-control device. Now I find out it might just be a "link" to the Weather Channel. CATS!
Magnum: "Ananya's School of the Topiary Arts"?!!? Oh, that sounds like my kinda place! I don't have easy access to the bushes out front like this one, but I've done some shaping on the Burning Bush in the backyard! ha rooo!
    Ender: Thanks, pal!
Zach: We're TRYING to make it that cold here... it's just not working. YET.
FuFu: Thanks! I like red! It's the color of Stormy's collar!

You Four are sooooo cool and up to date! I am nagging Jeannie to get more computer friendly, I can only do so much as a Dog! We have a plant here in bonnie Scotland called Burning Bush, but it is far different looking to the one in your picture.

Ours is in bloom in the spring though.

Lovin your Blog ! How cool you all look dressed up in your best leads with your Pa. I really wish I was not an Only Dog.
