Support For The Hike N Howlers, Part II

Hi everypuppy! It's me, Amber, again! I have the rest of the pictures from our group photo shoot! We wanted to show our support for all of our friends going to the Hike N Howl tomorrow! We'll be sure to get Mom and Dad to wear their shirts tomorrow and take us for a lovely walk here. On to the pictures!

In this first one, I do believe Stormy was telling Zim (who still wanted to play) to settle down. Dave was seeing if Zim wanted to play with him. I'm still looking for Oswald.

Zim! I said, "Lay DOWN!"

He's starting to do just that (lay down) in this next picture:

Stormy and Dave were sort of posing for the camera as Zim started to lay down. Me? Umm... I was looking for Oswald.

In this one, Zim is finally in a "down", as is Stormy. More or less. And I'm looking at the camera! Dave is looking for Oswald. (One of us has to be on the look-out at all times!)

It looks like Zim is saying something to Stormy, doesn't it? Sassy back-talk, perhaps?

Here's the last one. Dad is the only one smiling for the camera. Dave was about to jump on Storm and Zim, Storm is letting Zim know his back-talk was UNacceptable, Zim is horsing around ... and I'm ... well, I think you know what I'm doing. Or should I say who I'm looking for? :) You can never be too careful if there's a bunny involved!

Mom didn't take any more pictures after that one. She said she wasn't going to get all of us to "cooperate"... but she was OK with that. She and Dad know that if you're owned by Siberian Huskies, you should treasure any photo (like the one at this link) where we're being at least semi-cooperative! (Come to think of it ... I was looking out the front windows for Oswald in that picture, too. It's not that I'm obsessed, it's just that there's a BUNNY out there!)

Good luck to all our friends going to the Hike N Howl! Have a LOT of fun, lick a lot of faces, and raise a lot of money for your rescue groups!!! We can't wait to see all the wonderful pictures from your big day!!!

Love,
Amber

  1. My mom says she's glad to know that she's not the only one who has trouble getting a picture of all dogs looking at the camera. You should have seen her last weekend trying to get the three of us to look at the camera. She was not successful!! You all still look be-woo-tiful (and handsome)!

Wooo!!! Another day of great AO4 photos!!! It is difficult to get everyone to do what the camera taker wants (aka Mom). It is when you don't try to stage a photo that it comes out great!!

Dave... I am super excited that you liked the watermelon cookie. That was totally cool, wasn't it???

  4. Mom said she's so glad to see she's not the only one that struggles with getting "good" photos. I happen to think they're ALL good so I don't know what her problem is. She has promised to put together a photo montage of Hike N Howl shots on the Blog when she recovers from tomorrow.

  5. Your pictures are great! Mom says she has a hard enough time with keeping me in a posed position. Your parents must have TONS of patients!!

  6. Did Oswald ever show up? Or was he smart enough to stay away with that army of four out there after him?

  10. Kat: Thank roo. Mom VERY seldom gets all of us to look at the camera! We just don't want to. :)

Sitka: You're exactly right - the non-staged photos ARE the best!
Dave was drooling on the keyboard, looking at the pictures of the watermelon cookie! Hee hee hee!

Marvin: Thank roo! I would have looked even happier if I'd have seen Oswald!

Echo: We can't WAIT to see pictures from the Hike N Howl! Oh, I hope you have TONS and TONS of fun!!!
I think far too much emphasis is put on sitting, holding still, and looking at the camera. What's natural about ANY of that for Sibes?

Kaos: Thank roo! Zim says Mom says he tries their patience all the time and that it seems to him it's in short supply. Hee hee hee!

Koobie: I didn't see him that time, but I just KNOW he was out there! I just KNOW it!

Guinness & Shiloh: Misty is going to have so much fun! I hope she gets lots of ice cubes before you go, so she can have a nice, cold nose! :)

Cubby: Thank roo, and I agree completely! We're Siberian Huskies -- "holding still" just isn't in our repertoire!

Barlow Putz: We are VERY rough pups. Hee hee hee. Not really.

    Love,
    Amber
