Best Hiding Space

Hi everypuppy, it's me - Amber! I'm still a little concerned about the whole "bath" thing. You know ... our friend Nikki got a bath and now I just KNOW Mom is thinking about doing the very same thing to all of us. YIKES! I gave our friend Magnum my best advice, as he thinks a bath might be in store for him, too -- hide behind the chair in the living room!

Really! No one will EVER find you there. They can't see me, so it's bound to work for you! I hope this advice works for any of you who might need it! Good luck!

Love,
Amber

  1. Hey Amber,

Nice work on hiding. The Doofus and I like to hid under the dining room table but Mom & Dad always seem to find us.

  2. Hey Amber,

I fear I may be in line for a bath after this weekend as I am going to the muddy woods to meet 2 new Airedale buddies & to the beach, so thanks for the tip.

    Amber...
I don't like baths either... the only time I like water is when I want to get in it!!! Such as my little swimming pool in the backyard :) Great advice to hide behind the chair :)

  5. Good advice, Ammy, Mama could not find me anywhere so Jasper got a bath instead. It is too bad for him he did not get your advice in time.

  6. That looks like a really cozy spot to hide! I used to hide under the bed, but for some reason, I can't fit anymore!

  7. Hi Althea: Thank roo. I like to hide under the table, too. I didn't think the bipeds knew when we went under there! I better come up with a better alternate plan.

Hi Oscar! Oh, NO! I hope you don't have to have a b-a-t-h! Meeting up with two new Airedale friends sounds very nice, though!

Hi China and Madie! Really? Your mom must be VERY smart! Since you're relatively small... have you tried under the bed?

Sitka: I don't thing I've ever willingly gotten wet. Unless you count rolling in the SNOW, which I LOVE, or maybe walking or running in the rain. Of course, you still have to get towelled off after those...

Magnum: Sorry it didn't work for Jasper - but I'm GLAD my hiding place worked for roo!!!

Hi Kat! I don't think I'd fit, either. Zim puts his head under the bed a lot of times but I think that's as far as any of us could get.

    Love,
    Amber

  9. Unfortunately I'm way to big to hide behind anything. This whole dieting thing apparently isn't working cuz I'm not shrinking any!

  10. Hi Amber,
We just had a bath!!!! Mum said we were starting to smell a bit doggy. Of course we smell doggy!! We are dogs! Anyway we didn't read your blog till after we were washed so we couldn't take your advice on hiding spots this time but will remember it for next time. Mum kinda sprung it on us! We were snoring on our favourite couch when she so rudly interupted us and took us for a bath!! Me first and then Dixie. Your mums going to have her work cut out for her with four of you to wash!

  11. Hi Amber, We think the dreaded bath thing is right around the corner for us too. I think it was going to be this weekend but we heard dad say that since the back yard is now a swamp and the forecast calls for more rain, we might get a reprieve! Dad said what would be the point of a bath if as soon as we were done with it we'd go outside and roll in the mud. UMMM MUD!! Hey, maybe it will continue to rain for weeks and weeks. We don't have any good hiding spots. We'll have to work on that before the yard dries out. Belly Rubs for All in the Army of 4, Tasha & Eva. P.S. We're glad you enjoyed our puppy pictures!

  12. Maggie: Hopefully, you have some sort of exemption thing going on!

Holly: What about the dining room table? Can you hide under there?

Jazz & Dixie: Oooh, so sorry to hear about the bath. Bipeds can be so sneaky! It takes Mom forever to do all of us. She usually does it over the course of a couple days.

Tasha & Eva: Yes! We've had tons of rain, too - so I don't think we'll have our baths real soon. :)

    Love,
    Amber

  14. Ah what if there is no chair in the living room? It seems to work well for you though.

  15. Joey: Did he try behind the chair in the living room?

Peanut: How about under the table? That's the alternate place!
