It's a carrot cake and Stormy and I helped with any of the carrot pieces that hit the floor! It was really exciting; I don't know why Mom thought so many carrots would fit in the small food processor, but that's what made it really fun for us! Carrot stuff everywhere! I wish you all could have been here, helping with us!
The cake came out really good! And we didn't forget our friends - especially "somebuddy" who has a thing for CAKE! Following Dave's great example from last month, I decided to send that special "somebuddy" some!
Wow! All gone! I hope he got it!
I hope you enjoy the cake, Echo! Anypup else want me to send a chunk?
Play bows,
Zim

ReplyDeletePoor Mati, I think Dad should get her some Rescue Remedy....
Happy Belated Independence Day to all! -Rock

Ooohhhhm, I love carrot cake! Mom buys a special doggie carrot cake desert at Petsmart and I will eat it right from the spoon out of the can. Please send some my way! Woooo!
ReplyDeleteHolly
Oh that cakes look yummy. I don't think I've ever had carrot cake.
ReplyDeleteOh Zim. That looked so good, and it had icing on it too! You can operate the sending machine. Wow!
ReplyDeleteYour mom inspired my mom and she is gonna make a doggy carrot cake for us this weekend. She's already figured out the ingredients for us and will get them tomorrow. we can't wait.
MayaMarie
Carrot cake with walnuts and cream cheese frosting? Now mom is drooling! hehehehe Please send two piece ASAP! Thank you Zim!
ReplyDeleteDoes the rescue remedy really work that well Zim?
Love ya lots,
Maggie
Hi guys!
ReplyDeleteMom just prints out the postings - not the comments. We wish the comments automatically attached themselves with the posting but they don't unless mom is missing something? hummmmmmmmmm
Love ya lots,
Maggie
Hey, Happy belated 4th Zim. Glad y'all got some cake. We like cake a lot, but we didn't get any yesterday. I don't think our people like us as much as yours like you.
ReplyDeleteIf you're sending Marvin some, can you send some up to Michigan too?
Hey, you guys aren't all flooded out are you?
See ya
Pippin
CAKE!! Though I don't know if I like carrots. I do like chocolate, but they go on and on, something about how it's bad for us...geez, I only stole one stupid chocolate chip pie off the counter...and fudge, and chocolate covered espresso beans...
ReplyDeleteBut I love cake, so I'll probably like carrots too!
HI Guys,
ReplyDeleteIs there any of that delicious looking carrot cake left? Even one piece would be ok as we can share! Mum made a salad last night with carrots and we got some bits of the left over carrots. We love them because they are so crunchy!

P.S. About the fireworks - they do have them here for summer celebrations but the general public can only buy small ones and the big organised events are far away from our place. Sometimes kids let off cracker jacks in the park and that really scares us.
me me me me me me me!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI survived the night in the closet BTW, the storms (lower case s) were too much for me.
-Kelsey Ann
Oh thank you so much for thinking of me Zim! Be sure to visit my blog so you can read about that yummy piece of cake.
ReplyDeleteECHO
oh meee too I love cake!! I sure do love carrots too, I had some in my dinner tonight but tanner stole a couple because he finished before me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the big tease guys.
ReplyDeleteI thought I was getting some cake.
Hmppft! And then you had to rub it in by SHOWING the cake and then it was gone. Just like that.
I need a moment.
XOXOXOOX
Chelsea
Me me me.. I want cake too please...
ReplyDelete~ girl girl
Rocky: You have a new magic cold box!?!? How cool! Can you open this one still!?
ReplyDeleteRescue Remedy really helped Storm and Dave. The Third was worse than the Fourth for some reason!
Sitka & Tia: I'm sending you some - let me know if it works!
Hey! If it does, maybe you can send me the ocean this way!
Holly: This was a "for people" made from scratch cake. Funny ... I don't remember seeing Mom scratch!
Check your D drive for cake!
Peanut: It's the BEST!
Maya Marie: Wowzers, your mom does all kind of great cooking for you, doesn't she?
Maggie: Sending some now --- did you get it? Only Mom forgot the nuts! How could she forget the nuts? Then she said something to Dad about there being "too many nuts in the kitchen" and that's why she forgot the pecans. What do you think she meant by that?
And we LOVE your ideas about printing the blog - thanx!
Pippin! Ha roo! I read your write-up about your people, and I think they like you guys a TON! Besides ... didn't you mention "pie"? I'll bet you get more pie than we do!
I'm sending you guys half the cake. Let me know if you get it. Check Echo's blog ... it doesn't seem to have worked for him! :(
The floods are just south of us - we have lots of rain (and now HEAT) but we aren't flooded, thankfully! Thank roo for asking!
Sasha! You'd LOVE carrot cake. My mom is a chocaholic but she likes carrot cake best - so I think you would, too. I've never stolen (urr... I mean "Helped myself") to any chocolate, but I DO love coffee! I'll bet the chocolate-covered espresso beans were GREAT!
Butchy & Snickers: It's WAY too hot here! Dave is posting about it today.
Your loft is really pretty. Dave loves hanging out in our mom's studio ... I think that's why he asked!
Jazz & Dixie! Yes, it was a big cake, so there's plenty to go around. I'm sending some to Tokyo right now!
Aren't carrots tasty!!??!
I do OK with the fireworks and firecrackers, more or less. But they set the HUGE kind off right by our house sometimes, and kids set off loud ones all over the neighborhood. Sometimes it's too much for Storm and Dave to take!!! Off in the distance is OK, though!
Kelsey Ann: Which is worse, thunder storms (with a small "s") or fireworks? What a toss up! I'm glad you stayed safe!!!
Sending you cake now ... watch for it!
ECHO! WOW! I can't believe it didn't work! or are Guinness & Shiloh right, and it's just a ploy to get more cake? Hmm...
Joe: Quick! Check your D drive before Tanner does!
Chelsea: I can always SEND you some cake!
Girl Girl: This is the BESTEST cake! I'm sticking some in my computer right NOW and am sending you some!
Play bows, everypup!
Zim
Hey Zim,
ReplyDeleteI would love a bit if it is not to

Texas: One piece left! Check your D drive - it should be coming through!
