Who We Are

Hi everypuppy, it's me - Amber! Mom took me outside to play the other day and before it started to rain (AGAIN!), she asked me to pose by the potted posies under the Purple Ash tree. OK! I remembered Zim posing there and posting the pix the other day ... and how that bunny ate the poppies. But look! The pots are BURSTING with posies!

Kind of funny-looking poppies, Mom! But they're pretty!

Then she told me they aren't poppies, they are portulaca. Ooooh. I hope the bunnies don't eat these!

Did you say, "Portulaca"? Oooh, I love those!

Uh-oh. Mom's not going to be a happy camper! I think it's time to reapply the Bunny-Be-Gone!

Until next time!

  1. TAG YOUR IT. Check out my log to find out more

    -Kelsey Ann

  2. My Human really loves portulacas. We have a big hanging one on our porch.

My Human also likes oriental poppies. She once spent about 90 dollars for a bunch of 'em.

  3. Need help chasing that bunny into a hole? I'm your girl!

  4. Great pic! Aww, a bunny! I would love to chase that little bunny with you. :) We have a groundhog in our backyard (coming up lately) but my humans won't let me chase him...maybe they'd let me chase a bunny.

  5. OH since we are moving back to the desert soon and there are tons of Jack Rabbits there my Mom bookmarked the link in case we need to get some later and she says to tell your Mom thank you!

  6. What a pretty picture of you by the flowers!! They are coming up very nicely.

    OOOhhhh, snack-sized bunny!!!

  7. oooooooooooooooh a bunny! Does he live in your yard! What fun!

    Love ya lots,

  8. Oh Amber... You look beautiful by the posies!!! Umm.. Yes, the bunny-be-gone needs to be reapplied!

  9. I think your bunnies don't have a very good memory. You look quite lovely next to those bewootiful posies!

  10. You are a perfectly pretty potted posey protector.

  11. Wow - cute bunny - too bad you have to tell him to be gone!!

    Happy 4th!!

  12. Poor bunnies ner learn, do they?
Shiloh & Misty - AKA, our own baby bunny begones

  13. Has it been raining tons there too? It's really no fun with all of this rain. But hopefully you are finding a way to have fun inside!!

  14. wunnies!

better watch out for that poru- portuh.. uh pawetty fwowers!

those bunnies eat alot of greenies!

  15. Kelsey Ann: Oh, how fun! We're on it!

Tubey: Is your human part bunny? Because the bunnies seem to like all those things, too!

Hi Bailey! It's nice to meet you! Thanks for coming by!!!

Amici: For some reason, even though Mom wants the bunnies to stop eating everything in sight, she doesn't want us to handle it. Hmph. Sounds like the same deal as your groundhog!

China: I hope it works for you! Mom said you have to get started EARLY in the year with it - then once a week for a couple weeks, then monthly. Our bunnies are SLOW learners!

    Hi Holly! Thank roo!
Hee hee hee. "Snack sized." Hee hee hee!

Maggie: I don't know if he lives in our yard, but he and about a million other bunnies seem to think they have free reign around here!

Hi Sitka! Thank roo - you are so kind!
Yes, more stinky Bunny-Be-Gone is in order!!!

Echo: Thank roo, you are a sweet puppy!
I don't know WHY Mom won't let US deal with the bunnies!

Magnum: Hee hee hee! You're VERY poetic! :)

Dory: We'd be willing to let him stay if he'd stop EATING everything!
And thank roo for the good wishes for the 4th!

Shiloh & Misty: I would be happy to TEACH them ... but Mom says "no". I don't get it!

Steve: We don't have as much rain as you or other parts of our state, but we DO have too much! Poor Davy hates getting his feety-feet wet!

Toffee: Hee hee hee! Some of these posies have REALLY long names! :) And those bunnies eat EVERYTHING - except the weeds.

Hey! My street name is called Portulaca! That's soooooo neat!!!

  17. Hey AO4,
We have never sniffed butts before
but my mum reads your blog alot
and I was just wondering if I could
join the A04 I have a camo collar.

    Love and Licks
    Texas (and his humans).

P.S. Amber you look soo pretty.

  18. My Mom wants to know if you can use Bunny-Be-Gone on veggies - the stupid bunnies keep eating her baby bushes and pepper plants!

  19. Bruin: You must have a VERY pretty street!

Texas: Thank roo for the nice compliment AND forreading our blog! It's so nice to meet you!
Stormy said YES, you can be a Trooper in the Ao4! Your collar is really cool - I just saw it on your blog!
Email us for the cool gif file!

Marley: Here is the link for what Mom uses: http://www.liquidfence.com/all-natural-rabbit-repellent.html. I don't think you can use it on veggies - it smells HORRIBLE, so you probably wouldn't want to. Our neighbor put a bunny fence around his veggies that I think is working. Should I try to take a picture of it for you? That might be the only way!

  20. What a cute bunny! Sorry about the poppies!
